Our school is based on Piaget's philosophy that children learn through play. As you take a look around our school, you will see the classes are divided into centers. The center-based learning approach is designed to help children have control in their learning, while the teacher guides the activities.
In order for all children to reach their full potential we work closely with parents, as well as early intervention. We work collaboratively with the therapists and the developmental interventionists to facilitate the goals of the Family Service Plan. Our Creative Curriculum is made up of units of studies.

Services
Children who are between 18 months and 30 months will be in our toddler program. This is where we begin learning about the world we live in. We incorporate a lot of sensory activities and begin enhancing our fine and gross motor skills. We have daily story and music time and a wide variety of toys that help us with our problem solving skills.
When your child is 2 1/2 years old, he or she will begin our preschool program. Here he or she will be introduced to alphabet skills and learning how to write. Fine motor skills, such as beginning to use a pencil and cutting, are focused on. We also learn our address and phone number as well as continuing to strengthen our self-help and problem solving skills.
We understand that parents have demanding schedules. We would like to help by offering before and after school care for your children who attend the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District. If your child is in grades K-5 he or she is eligible for this program. During your child's time with us, they will receive any extra help they may need, as well as help with homework each day.
