Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
G. K. Chesterton wrote, Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die. The men and women who served in the armed forces, whether during a time of war, or one of peace, are living examples of that contradiction. Each should be honored and remembered, so that our gratitude never fades.

Clint made myself and my family feel like he was one of us. I felt like my husband personally chose him to turn a deep sadness into a light, joyfilled , experience that has made a truly difficult time into a time of peace. Down to earth and very humbling experience. God bless his calling to serve in such a manner. Thank you Clint. It has been an honor.

I’ve experienced the loss of a beloved extended family member who lived out-of-state. I called Clint for guide in my situation. He was very sensitive and supportive, and provided amazing feedback and guidance. He provided feedback on what the frame of mind of the immediate family likely is, and best ideas and steps regarding reaching out to appropriate family members, sending condolences, and making arrangements for flowers, among all other things. So very much appreciate the great help and sensitivity he gave to my situation.
