My coworker lost his mother-in-law on Friday morning, July 2. The funeral was Tuesday, July 6. I called and spoke with Nicholson on Friday and they recommended Johnson Greenhouses as a florist. I placed an order online for flowers which were NOT delivered. When I called Johnson Greenhouses back, I was told they called Nicholson's and were told there was no funeral under the name I provided. I called Nicholson's back and repeated what I was told to the Funeral Director, "David" who "wanted to make things right" until I asked him how as she was not going to die again and then "David" was more concerned

Its something that most people do not plan for ... or know when this service will be needed ..but we all know it will be needed at some point..
I have to say with my Wife's passing recently in July, which was unexpected to us, we wanted to select a Funeral Home that was easy to get to and make my family feel it was personal and family friendly ... and we chose Nicholson Funeral Home... Tommy Nesbit, director, went so far above and beyond to help us with every facet of funeral planning for our Mom. He put together the most beautiful slide show tribute of her, adding special touches that made it something we will treasure forever. They did a wonderful job handling all the details in my mom’s death. They were so very respectful from beginning to end. Last year, before death, Alana walked us through every detail and ensured we knew what to ask for at the gravesite, regarding the marker. This was my 1st time making ANY arrangements (& had to coordinate w/another home out of state for the burial. Nicholson handled EVERYTHING for us, contacting the other home & making sure everything went just as we wanted. We even had special circumstances involved and they made sure all of it went very smoothly. They even checked up on us after we returned to NC to make sure we didn’t need anything further from them. They have gone above and beyond to make this as easy on us as they could. Thank you for your prayers!!
