Our family of four just came back from a memorable trip to Cannon Beach. We stayed at Sea Sprite's new building called Sea Sprite on the Estuary on the 2nd floor, Room 23. The accommodations were just fantastic. The kitchen was stocked with every kitchen utensil, pot, pan and bowls we needed and more (high end blender, coffeemaker and toaster.)

Kathy (sp?) and the staff here are amazing!! It's so hard nowadays to find genuine caring people who will go out of their way to assure you are taken care of. The staff here went above and beyond.
The rooms are extremely clean, with a full kitchen, front ocean views, along with being a very private and quiet experience during our stay here. We're regulars coming around 4-5 times a year to Cannon Beach from Seattle and will only stay at Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock if they have rooms available.
Thanks again Sea Sprite staff!

The location is GREAT! I'd agree that the cottages could be upgraded with better quality, but the place was comfortable and being able to walk back from the beach quickly each time a kid had to use the bathroom was priceless. If you'll be arriving late to check in, call as the front desk closes sort of early.

Came here with my mother for a graduation trip. They have games and movies in the front office to borrow and the staff is just wonderful. The bed in our room was a little stiff but that's all up to personal taste as my mom loved it! I ended up sleeping on the couch which was actually pretty comfy and not a bad alternative. We had a great view of the beach and haystack rock. And there are the cutest wild bunnies that run around in the yard! I would stay here again.

We stayed here for the first time. I will definitely be back. The unit we got was neat, clean, had a fantastic view of the ocean and haystack rock. It was quiet and had great access to the beach. The staff are super friendly. It was really nice having an assigned parking spot near the door to our unit.

Very lovely location, overall, right on the beach. But as another Yelper pointed out, which was true for us as well, on the ground floor of the "ocean view" room, the berm blocks the view of the ocean if you're sitting down.
Otherwise, it was quiet (aside from the roaring wind and sea), the bed was super comfortable, and the room had all the amenities we needed. The two front desk ladies with whom I interacted were both exceptionally pleasant.

This is a beautiful place to kickback and really great location to get the most out of Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock. Our second floor 1-bedroom cottage had a nice kitchenette and sitting room that faced the water. Our private staircase led right out of the of the cottage to the peaceful beach. There was even a place that we could have set up our own fire on the beach! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and BONUS! there is a free washer and dryer in the office.

This is a charming little property in the perfect location on cannon beach. The views are amazing! Haystack rock was literally just outside our window. The staff is friendly and quick with responses to email. They allowed us a late check out at 1pm without any additional costs when I told them we were celebrating my fiancé's birthday. This was our second time here and we will definitely be returning!

I should have read the Yelp reviews before booking this place on hotels.com. My bad!
We paid over $300/night to have an ocean view that you couldn't really see while seated; you have to stand up to actually see the surf. The view is cool -- the haystack rock was out the side window. Thankfully we had good weather during the day; there are no lights so you can't see anything but blackness at night.
The "cottage" was old and not quaint. OMG! It's really geared toward housing a bunch of kids, not a couple out for a romantic holiday. The kitchen is rudimentary and perhaps

I had the opportunity to stay at the Sea Sprite in on Labor Day weekend to wrap up a short vacation out to the northwest. My girlfriend and I agreed that wrapping up at a place with a perfect view of the ocean and Haystack Rock was a great way to wind down the trip.
The Sea Sprite was a nice cottage-style lodging that had a living room with a coach, dining table, and a flat screen television with an extensive cable package. The office also offered the opportunity to borrow movies and games to take back to the room, though we didn't partake, it was a pretty neat amenity to offer.

My boyfriend planned a weekend away and I can only say it was great. You pay for what you get here. Quiet, close to the beach (nice bonfire), relaxing and nicely decorated. We will be back and I can only say it was everything I could have hoped for and more. Next time we will bring something to cook as I would have never imagined that we'd have an outdoor grilling area as well!!! Make sure and stop by the main office for a few movies, games and beach towels (free)

I love this place! Cute, quaint, and awesome location. I stayed here for the first time back in March and came back again in June. We stayed in the sandcastle studio which is really cute and perfect for two people.
The location is perfect, RIGHT on the water. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. It's also nice that the rooms are equipped with a little mini kitchen so if you don't feel like blowing a bunch of money on your vacation, you can make breakfast right in your little studio.
It's a nice quiet place to get away from all the tourist traps and relax at the beach

My husband and I stayed in room A1, a small bedroom with a kitchenette (with a fridge, microwave, oven, stove top, sink, coffee pot), and a cute little bathroom with it's own heating. The price was great, the staff was very very friendly and helpful. I'm in love with this neat little place and very much look forward to visiting again this spring/summer with the whole family in one of the larger rooms. =D

Disappointing, overpriced. Location isn't everything, not when it means paying over $200 to stay in a 1960s cabin. Unless you REALLY need the extra room, you should definitely stay at the nearby Ocean Lodge or down the road at Sea Sprite on the Estuary instead.
At the price point of cottage #6, I was expecting it to be equally as nice as the Estuary location but that simply isn't the case. It feels like you're bunking at your friend's lake house back in high school, you know, the place that they only use twice a year so everything just feels ... old. The cottage is definitely

Location, location, location. We spent a lovely evening here and felt like we really lucked out. This little Inn is just South of Haystack Rock and affords a great sunset in one of the adirondack chairs with a glass of wine. We stayed in suite 1A which has just a peak a boo view of the water, but it was still a charming suite. We were able to walk down to check out the tide pools at Haystack or to grab coffee at Waves of Grain in the morning. The staff was also extremely responsive and accommodating in helping us book our stay. Thank you Seasprite.
