For eleven years, Brad Clark has focused on advocating for the accused in the Bluegrass state. He started as a state court public defender in Lexington, KY, then transitioned as an appointed counsel in death penalty cases and was recently in private practice. He joined the Suhre & Associates team in 2020 and is dedicated to providing great service to our clients.
A Kentucky native, Derrick Harris uses his many life experiences to help him relate to people from any walk of life. He knew at a young age that he wanted to enter the legal field. In the fourth grade, he participated in and won a mock jury trial at an old courthouse in downtown Lexington. You could say from there onward he was on the pursuit of justice.
Jacob Elder is a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky. In 2006, he served as an officer in the Kentucky National Guard and later with the Georgia National Guard. He received his law degree from John Marshall Law School in Georgia. Prior to joining the team, he worked as a prosecutor and spent three years in the Jefferson County Attorney's General Criminal and DUI divisions.
Joe Suhre is the owner and principal of Suhre & Associates, LLC. Joe has dedicated his practice to the defense of OVI cases and other criminal offenses. Joe has over 20 years of criminal defense experience and an additional 5 years of experience as a police officer. He has handled hundreds of DUI cases before dozens of judges in numerous counties.

I highly recommend Suhre & Associates. I initially had another criminal lawyer but had some doubts, after only 5 minutes of speaking with Brad Clark I knew I should change attorneys. Brad is knowledgeable on pending changes with the law and other logistics affecting criminal charges (pending laws my original lawyer did not know anything about). He was able to make recommendations for my job, professional licensure and also had recommendations for ways to make my life easier after conviction (I.e. made the ignition interlock process easy after a dui). Long Story Short- Brad Clark got my aggravated DUI dropped to regular misdemeanor DUI!!!!
Brad Clark!!! He’s the man w/ a plan!!! I got a DUI last November 2020 and was SO anxious about the outcome. Mr. Clark is VERY responsive in his communication and answered all my questions right away. This was my first offense & I’m sure some of the questions I asked were pretty dumb, but he was a true professional the entire time and really helped me understand the situation I was in. He also gave me ONE flat rate that didn’t flex or bend even with a lot of extra stuff I was asking of him! If you want

Mr. Clark at Suhre & Associates bailed me out of a very dire situation. I made a grave mistake by being out of town and forgetting I had a court appearance for a traffic citation. I called in asking about a court date received in the mail. As usual I was expecting to pay for answers. I mean it’s a lawyer, right. To my surprise not only did Brad Clark himself answered the phone but, he was the kindest most helpful attorney I have ever spoke with. He looked up my case number and not only answered my questions, he told me that this was something that I could handle myself! Mind blown!
