Wanted to try something new while in town for the holidays. The instructors are super friendly and were helpful to me and my wife. We never once felt out of place in a new environment. The class was great, and the personal feedback was welcomed to help me get into the correct positions. I was blown away by the hospitality and the warm welcome we received. Thank you so much! We will be back when we are in town again. Melissa is a fabulous instructor.

I’ve been practice Bikram style yoga for over 15 years. I’ve been to all the “Bikram/ Hot Yoga” studios in the surrounding area but I always come back to this one, which was the original in the Houston area. They have the most 90 minute yoga classes with the best teachers and have handled the pandemic in the most professional manner. I highly recommend Hot Yoga Houston located at South Boulevard, just off of Kirby in the Rice Village area. Happy yogaing! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Best hot yoga studio in Houston. Clean environment, knowledgeable instructors, warm, friendly staff. I do wish the classes started and ended on time, as the website claims. This claim, however, is more reflective of good intentions than reality. Typically the instructor enters the room 1-3 minutes late (sometimes even 5), when in fact s/he should be walking in just a bit early. The instructor then goes to the podium, steps up on it, takes the mask off, gets the mic out, gives an introduction... If there's a new student in the room, the class starts even later due to an extra long intro and a breathing

I went to my second hot yoga class on thursday 2/20/2020 at 6:30pm and after finishing my class and going to my truck, I found that the passenger window was broken and my backpack stolen. When I went back to tell the office what happened, they immediately called the police but when I asked if they caught anything on the cameras, they told me that they did not work. They also broke into another classmate's car and stole their belongings. This was my second class but I no longer feel safe attending their classes. This used to be a safe area but not anymore.

First time taking a 90minute hot yoga class. The staff went above and beyond any other studio I’ve practiced at (room temperature yoga). They were very kind and friendly. I will be back. I live in clear lake and I would make the drive again. The studio is clean and inviting. I would and will recommend to anyone wanting to try hot yoga. They’ve been around since 1995.

This studio has the best feeling I've had in about ten years. You need to feel welcome and happy to subject yourself to 100 degrees+ Bikram yoga practice. The teachers are all awesome - each with their own energies and personalities and none of them are boring or sound scripted - if that's possible. They also have hot Pilates which is a great way to augment your yoga practice.
Prices are comparable to other studios - maybe even a little better. Parking never an issue.

I've been going to the South Blvd location for about five years now and think of this studio as my second home. I love everything about this place. It has the best heating system of any hot yoga studio I have ever been in and doesn't feel too stuffy like most of the other hot yoga studios. All the instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm a yoga teacher and have practiced many styles of yoga in very varied environments, in different cities and with all kinds of practitioners. I heard about this studio through a friend and since I was in town decided to try it out. The experience was so good that I came back every day I was in the city. This is a special place with en exceptionally welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for students of all levels. The demographic is mixed with all ages and abilities and there really is something here for everyone. You are treated extremely well and the place has the feel of a true haven and

I want to add this place into my regular regime - it's a small business that has been around forever and with friendly instructors. That said, while the place has made a few changes to update it with the times, a few more suggestions would greatly improve the experience.
1. switch out the carpet for hardwood floors
2. change the standing poses across the mat to "on the mat" - I find the carpet slippery and why not use the "sticky" mat for its intended purpose
3. schedule classes for those familiar with the poses with a LOT LESS verbiage from the instructors. I know

This was my home away from home. I was visiting from Tampa and took advantage of the weekly pass. In 6 days I stayed in H-town, I checked in here 5 times. This is a very nice studio with quality instructors who are passionate and knowledgeable. My practice for Bikram imoroved a lot while I was here. This is a state of the art studio with the best dry heating system. I've been to one on Oahu, Maryland and Florida and this studio is the top! Namaste for everything.

Hot Hot Hot Yoga in more than just the sense of the mind body and soul! I have been multiple times over the years and always love the experience and feeling I have after a class at Hot Yoga Houston. The teachers are always extremely helpful and willing to take the time to show you how to achieve the proper position of a pose even if my body isn't that flexible! I hope to get back into a regular routine and attend more often.

Wow. Just wow. A one word review would be "caring". See below for the long version...
Having not done any exercise for far too long, I was apprehensive about trying hot yoga. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was"home". Mike and Cristie offered me a warm greeting and walked me through what I needed to know - Mike even set-up my mat and towel for me!
Happy to say I was never singled-out as a "newbie", yet the gentleman on the mat next to me came over and introduced himself before class and offered kind reassurances. Thrilled to report I made it through the entire

I was a new comer when I came to Fountainview and found everybody to be my FREINDS
I have been to studios all over the country and there's no place like home. The staff makes you feel comfortable with yourself no matter what level you are in they promote you to do your own yoga at your own pace but no matter what you always fit in the class. I love bikrahm hot yoga and all the instructors as well

I LOVE this yoga studio. Located off South Blvd you can find ample parking prior to class. MAKE sure you arrive 10-15mins before class to set up your yoga mat and towel.
(Bikram tip: you have to be in the studio before scheduled start time or will be unable to participate in class. Trust me I am never on time...BUT am always on time to get my Bikram on)
The studio is welcoming and clean with friendly staff and instructors. The "HOT ROOM" or actual practice studio is fantastic with lovely clean floors and plenty of space. There are even well placed lines on the floor to aline your body

What makes this place great is the staff and instructors. They are always so nice and make an effort to remember you by name. Often the instructors will socialize before and after class with tips on poses and generally on improving your practice. They are also very good during class explaining poses, what they are doing for you and how to get better. While it is a little pricey, it is definitely worth it for the benefits. After going regularly, you feel awesome. The price is to be expected with the maintenance of a facility like this.

The class:
As far as Bikram yoga goes the class is good. I feel you get a really good workout and should come out feeling relaxed and like you have accomplished something. I have been to several different hot yoga studios and have learned different things from different instructors. For example, I use a small rag during class to either wipe my hands or hold my ankle during Standing Bow Pose. Apparently, this is a big no-no with Bikram. Its ok to use your towel during Rabbit Pose but not this pose. Hmmm? Not sure why that it but apparently at this studio the rag is not allowed. Bikram says using
