H&Q Jewelers was co-founded by my brother Quoc and I, Huy Tran. After I graduated UCF (Go Knights!) I decided to follow my father's steps and invited my lifetime accomplice to chase this dream with me. We opened our first store in Orlando, Florida in August of 2015.
After helping our family in their stores since we were kids, we learned that when somebody is shopping for high end jewelry, whether it is a custom piece, a special gift or an engagement ring, the service a customer receives can turn a normal day into a memorable experience.

My fiancé and I got our wedding bands here at H&Q Jewelers in Altamonte Springs. Everyone was extremely helpful especially Sheila who helped us picked out our special rings. We also decided on engraving our initials on our rings and Jonathan (Huy) did an amazing job! I would 10/10 recommend visiting here if you’re looking to do any custom engravings or finding your perfect jewelry!

My experience with HQ Jewelers has been nothing but short of amazing. Huy has been extremely helpful from the very beginning when I was looking for an engagement ring for my fiancée. My fiancé is the one who spent the most time with John, but I have to say that John's craftsmanship is unbelievable. He created the perfect engagement ring for me, and I know that he took great care of my fiancé's goals out of my ring!! I dropped off my mothers ring which needed a replacement diamond, a sterling silver David Yurman silver ring and two watches for battery replacement. We had excellent communication with regard to picking up the order they actually rushed my mom's ring for me which I sincerely appreciated. The order was complete in two days when I picked up the rings both of them looked better than when we originally purchased them absolutely gorgeous work and they did a marvelous job cleaning them. I have shopped with H&Q for my gold chains, diamond bracelet, and sizing all my diamond rings and everytime I am left happy. They return your ring like it’s new when they are finished and go above and beyond. Plus the quality of their jewelry is great. Diamond clarity and color are beautiful on almost every piece. And to really make them an amazing place that I will forever shop with, my neighbor had a bad accident and lost part of his hand, And a finger on his other hand. the hospital cut the ring into 3 pieces and it was a wedding ring his wife had saved her jewelry up and had made for him

Jon at the Fashion Square Mall location helped me design a custom engagement ring for my fiance and it was a wonderful experience. He was very personable and committed to the timeline I needed. I shared a budget and some inspirational images and they returned a digital rendering which looked amazing, We made some tweaks and were even able to add a few personalized elements upon his suggestion. Discovered this place while in the fashion quake mall one day and needed my watch battery replaced. They were reasonable & efficient and in my area so I kept them in mind. Also, went to try to sell my engagement ring a couple years later but they wouldn't buy it. It had a fracture in it, which I DOD disclose, but that wouldn't have stopped other jewelers from buying it and selling it to some unsuspecting schmoe because if really was a beautiful ring, so it's good to know they're honest.

Without the power of Yelp, this small local jewelrer tucked into the very dead Fashion Square mall (which after a terrible trip to their theater I'd sworn never again to ) would have never in a million years entered my radar.
Thank goodness for the power of Yelp- I needed a place that would resize my engagement ring without carving a chunk out of the metal leaving the ring virtually impossible to wear (looking at Zales that absolutely destroyed a different ring my partner gifted me). H&Q did a super quick and very well done job at a very reasonable price and I'll definitely go here

I was getting ready to propose to my girlfriend. I came to H&Q because I knew Huy from high school. I had seen some pictures of his work, so I knew he would do a good job. But I wasn't prepared for what happened. He helped me design an amazing ring from scratch. We sat down together a few times and brainstormed ideas for a unique, personalized design. He showed me 3D renderings of our work along the way. When it finally came to life, it felt incredible! I knew she would love it, and now she tells me all the time how amazing the ring is. I worked with the H&Q team to design and create a "treat yourself ring" for me this past year :) The team was easy to work with, professional, and helped me make decisions about the ring to make sure it was exactly as I wanted it. My Fiance, Jonathan, just proposed to me with this ring and it's absolutely gorgeous. He told me that it was custom made by his friend, Huy. Jonathan was clueless on what ring to get me. So when Jonathan showed Huy a picture of what kind of rings he wanted, within 10 minutes, Huy found the perfect ring for Jonathan. Jonathan was very ecstatic and so was I.

Not only was my ring perfectly resized within the hour, but it came back even shinier than when I brought it in.
