It all begins with my imagination and a sketch. The design elements I create are intended to complement one another as one design nuance leads to the next. Most features in my pieces occur naturally and spontaneous through it's unique development and work process. Relying on only traditional goldsmith techniques, a silver model is created.
Computer aided drawings are not relied on. We love the experience of creating everything by hand. From the silver model a mold is created so we may cast our collections in gold, palladium and platinum. All pieces are hand-finished and precious stones gently set. Every Almut Belote Jewelry piece is created in-house by Almut and her select team of goldsmiths.

When I lived in Barcelona, I discovered a lovely atelier (workshop) that had been family run for generations. There, they handcrafted bespoke jewelry creations, fusing precious metals, exotic rare stones, and creating shapes and textures that are entirely unique-- one magnificent piece at a time. Why couldn't such a place exist in the US? Nothing can be more special than expressing a feeling to a goldsmith and having them create a unique piece by hand, just for you.

I visited several different shops in the Orlando area to see if they had anyone who could tell if some bracelets I purchased online are genuine stones. When I called the lady I spoke to was very nice, stating she has 35 years experience working with gems and would be more than happy to check out my bracelets. When I arrived I found the shop to be well lit, clean, and full of beautifullly handcrafted jewelry. The lady I spoke with on the phone (all 3 proprietors there had on masks ☺), was very pleasant and examined the bracelets thoroughly. I noticed an awesome gold and silver ring she said has

I have several pieces of jewelry hand crafted by Almut Belote. I guess you could say I'm addicted. My latest obsession is her beautiful and cleverly designed charm earrings - I'm on my fourth set of charms including the ones she custom designed using my own white sapphire stones from an old art deco ring. I particularly love her statement pieces like the hand-hammered gold intersecting circle earrings. Now if I could just get my daughter to stop stealing them.
