At Dave's Towing Service, we charge a flat rate towing fee based on the location of the pickup and tow without any additional mileage fees within the Jefferson County area. Towing rates outside of Jefferson County have a flat rate towing fee plus additional mileage fee based on the distance of the tow.

I called looking for a vehicle and was told "I'm not going to go through thousands of tickets if you don't know for sure it's here. We do everything by hand". It's probably time to start using some sort of digital system to make it easier for your employees to assist the public. Especially handling "thousands" of tickets.

I'm not even sure how to rate this! I just really need some help from this company showing a car was junked. Since I don't live in Louisville my county will not take the letter they sent me as proof of it being junked. I've called a couple times, but have been told they letter is all they send. County clerks office says they have to have proof of the car being junked. Can someone please help me to just get this car out of my name? I thought the car was sold and got messed over on that deal. Reported to Attorney General's Office & Better Business Bureau because they are using illegal practices, not to mention they are the rudest people I've ever met and the tiny lot is not properly secured. Despite what their Web site says, they will NOT EVER make evening or weekend appointments to let you get your vehicle. Their Web site also says they take major credit cards but they REFUSE to do so. I parked my car at Cardinal Center on 4th Street and walked inside Insomnia Cookies at 12:13 p.m. At 12:16 p.m., I saw one of their tow trucks coming up to my car to try and tow it. Tim performed a very quick and efficient tow job for me today. I found myself stranded in the middle of Breckinridge lane during a busy time of day. Tim showed up within minutes of my call and was very professional. He had my vehicle loaded on his flatbed and placed in my driveway within 15 minutes - literally. Daves towing immediately confiscated my truck without any notice because my registration was expired by less than 2 months. Then they tell me you owe us $190+ $25 a day!!! Until I pay up without having to renew my registration to drive or tow my vehicle off their lot the the only reason they stole my porperty in the first place. Called to confirm that they towed my car while I was away on a business trip and when I tried to explain to the woman who answered that I was away and did not know that the parking lot next to my house was repainting the parking lines, she hung up on me. So, I called back and she proceeded to call me a "N*gger B*tch".

This company needs to be put out of business and fast. I have worked in the Customer Service Industry for over 25 years, and never in my life have I encountered a company such as this. They must have been hired by U of L Police. Car was towed after being left for 2 minutes, the tow trucks are hired and just wait around every corner to see an unattended vehicle. Ok I understand that is your one and only job ! I wish there was a way to give zero stars. This is the absolute worst company I've ever seen in my life. I watched them tow a young girls car while being condescending and rude the entire time they spoke to her. They stood and laughed in her face about how there were "42 signs all around the area about towing" (there were not). They continued to laugh when about the fact that she was $5 short on the bill and how they "weren't going to print the bill for her". The two young men (Red and Steve) and this company should be ashamed of themselves. Terrible company.

My car was a bout to get towed last night from Butchertown Social by the owner of Sergio's world of beer. I had parked in Sergio's parking lot went to Sergio's for a beer with my girlfriend then walked across the street to order food at Butchertown Social to order food to go. I was at Butchertown maybe 15 minutes tops I came out and your guys had my car strapped up. I tried to explain to your driver what had happened and how I had been to Sergio's and he went on to cuss me out, which I recorded on my phone. I also got him trying to haggle me saying it was going to cost me $165

THEY DO NO EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR. I have told everyone I know, including Ford Motor Company to never use this so called business. They towed my car my mistake, the words of their employee at 1am, not mine, but refused to bring my car back to the location knowing that I live well out of Jefferson county. The wife is a 100% rude human being and he, well they deserve each other for sure is the nicest way to put it. I can't believe they are still in business especially after seeing all these reviews.

This company is AWFUL! Everyone is rude form the drivers to the lady behind the plexiglass wndow! Oh, and don't leave for vehicle for any reason if you see a Dave's towing sign near by. They stalk the area if they have a contract with a company. Will have you on a flatbed before you can turn around. 107 bucks CASH later. COMPLETE tow for profit...IF you need a tow try Troy's Wrecker Service.

Most unprofessional service I have ever encountered.. Drivers were rude and crude cursing people out as they hooked up cars. Even when people tried to pay they would act as if would take the cash.. but then said it was not enough and would not wait 5 minutes for person to get remaining cash. Then curse the person out. Was not able to reach anyone at office. Then beat the truck to their own lot where no one was at. Driver then took time to unload and told lies about what was said and what happened.

Worst towing company I have ever encountered. Absolutely the rudest and unprofessional staff and owner. My car was towed by a completely incompetent driver who apparently doesn't understand the difference between front wheel drive and rear wheel drive car. He picked up and towed my REAR wheel drive car from the front while it was in reverse gear, forcing the transmission to pop and grind until the linkage snapped out of gear. When confronted he first admitted it, then lied once realized what he had done. The office staff would talk over me, yell and hang up when I called to talk to the owner
