We left the practice after 10+ years.
When we first came to the this vet, it was awesome. Great staff, great care.
Things have drastically changed over the years.
Mary is a great vet, but you have to get past the gatekeepers.
The straw that broke the camles back, no returned phone call regarding my sick dog they just treated.
I felt guilty switching vets until I received a harsh letter & my dog's medical records from the vet about a week AFTER we already transferred out of the practice.
Hopefully others have better results.

I took my pet here for a simple rabies vaccine and he caught a urinary track infection. They don't have stainless tables here so they don't sanitize between patients. they have this rubbery open weave waffle style mat down ( something you would see as a cheap carpet skid ) instead so the animals don't slip around. My pet caught an infection from a prior animal that had been on the table. They claim they change the mat daily but my pet went in at 4pm and who knows what happen in between, and what infections were on that table. I should have ran at first sight, wasn't thinking

I have been taking my dog to Pine Village for the past 3 years. Their place is beautiful and everyone there remembers my dog and myself. There are no long waits and my dog gets thorough and thoughtful care by Dr. Mary. She has had regular visits and vaccinations, had her teeth cleaned and just recently went because she was sick and bounced back within a day of being diagnosed and prescribed the correct medicine. To some saying that this is a one vet operation, I see no problem with that. I want my dogs vet to know her and be with her throughout her life and that is what I am getting with Dr

I try to go the natural route with my animals, but "holistic" veterinarians are obscenely expensive. Thus, I go to Pine Village.
They respect my decision to feed synthetic free and raw dog food. They respect my decision to skip the optional annual vaccinations (I'm not anti-vaccines, but titers show anti-bodies for years after the vaccine was administered, meaning they don't really need an annual vaccine, and I'd prefer to avoid over-vaccination.)
Dr. Mary is great with my dogs, happily getting down onto her hands and knees to say hi and love on my little guys. One of

I have owned lots pets in my lifetime, as a result, have had many an appointment with many Vets. Dr Schwacha is the most caring and knowledgeable Vet I have had the pleasure of meeting. You can see that she has a special interest in each animal. I have heard that she often takes animals with special needs home with her overnight to observe. Now that`s dedication! I hope that me and my family of animals never have to make do without her.. Charlotte Shannon

Dr. Mary and her staff are THE best! We have tried many other vets over the years and no one comes close to the quality of care and the level of satisfaction you will receive after taking your animal to Dr Mary's office. The entire staff is professional and friendly making you feel at home, but it is Dr Mary who cares more about the animals than the money ( a rare trait in Vets these days) that truly will steal your heart and make you glad you have her around.
