I've been photographing the most beautiful architecture, homes, and real estate on Kauai for the last five years. As an architecture photographer on Kauai (and in Hawaii), the biggest challenge is always the fluctuating weather. It can take patience and planning to get "good light, " and I often find myself standing beside my tri-pod waiting as the sun hides in the clouds or raindrops fall.
As a Kauai photographer, I'm always looking for new ways to be creative with my camera and subjects. I love photographing people in ways that express unique ideas, themes, passions, or perspectives. Fortunately, the island of Kauai has so many beautiful, fascinating locations which inspire the imagination and make stunning backgrounds for portraits.
I was born and raised along the Pacific coast by Santa Monica, California. I studied at U.C. Berkeley and U.C.L.A. and I've been working with visual art as a photographer and painter for over fifteen years. I spent a good portion of the previous decade working as a photographer in Los Angeles shooting fashion, fitness, glamour, entertainment, and architecture.
