I ordered the whole roasted duck
--first time ordering from this restaurant.
I received 2 legs and 13 I" or smaller boney pieces.
For $15, which I initially thought was a very good price--was certainly not worth it. Additionally, what was edible, was not fresh or juicy, but dry and had an odd, old taste. Truly disappointing on all fronts.
Perhaps their other items are better, but don't waste your money on the duck--it was terrible!
PS. The duck breast, which is the best part, was nowhere to be found!

Awful experience with Ching Tao tonight. Waited for 1.5 hours for delivery. Staying at a hotel in RI so obviously will need forks, knives, plates, etc. They didn't think to bring it, so delivery driver had to be delayed even more turning around and getting those. Still didn't get napkins either. Orange chicken was pure mush, so soggy and gross. Sweet and sour chicken also a miss. Vegetable lo mein was bland. Beef in the beef and broccoli not tasty, low quality. Very unhappy with our experience. Only giving 2 stars because the delivery driver was nice and tried to be accommodating.

Perfectly cooked veggies, huge portions, delicious, not greasy, super fast service, COVID conscious, kind employees. Can't recommend them enough. We ordered two kinds of lo mein, fried rice, happy family, chicken with cashews, beef stick and egg rolls. Egg rolls were ok (not a ton of filling) everything else was exceptional. Totally worth the extra 10 minutes to go there instead if the other places nearby Tiverton/Fall River/Portsmouth.

It is definitely time to update my Ching Tao review. We have gone there three times during COVID and all three have been flawless! It is interesting how several local restaurants seemed to have drastically improve with the pandemic.
Their takeout game is spot on; you walk in the entrance and give your phone number, they hand you your food, and away you go! They even have a propane heater going while you wait outside.
As for their food, their crab Rangoon have to be among the best, and their house made duck sauce (the dark kind), is really amazing. The vegetables were all fresh and crisp and

Enjoyed the quality of this restaurant pre-Covid, however my last two take out visits have been pretty bad.
Cons: the fried rice was cold and the pork was just gobs of fat, the Szechuan shrimp had an fresh shrimp and the mound of celery. The sauce had very little taste and not even soy sauce could enhance it. The orange chicken was soggy and limp. The eggroll cold and not very tasty.
Pros:The wonton soup was excellent

Moved to the island nearly 2 years ago ching tao used to have the best Chinese food. Its still good but since the pandemic things have changed. They cut their portion sizes down (honestly it was too big to begin with i could never finish it) so im not complaining about that. The real issue is their chicken fingers used to be long real chicken fingers. Now theyre just like chicken bites its a disappointment i used to love their chicken fingers. Still love you guys and still will order take out but the locals have noticed!

I'm not sure why this restaurant doesn't have higher stars! I ordered delivery for our family and it was amazing! The gentleman came right on time, he even had a dog treat for my doggos! So sweet!!! The food was still hot when it came in and was such a nice treat to have super yummy Chinese food. The soups were just the right amount of spice, flavor and wontons. King pao chicken had an amazing amount of peanuts and it tasted Soo good!

I was in the mood for something different than pizza and since vegetarian, seafood is out of the question. I came here with my sister and our kids since she doesn't live too far away and frequents here often.
We arrived around 9pm noting that they close at 10pm, no one was in the restaurant and maybe it's more of a to-go kind of chinese place. We sat down and were waited on by an older gentleman. He was not very nice and rude. He wasn't happy that i asked for no meat in the singapore noodles....just said NO we can't do that. i was like...hmm ok weird. He didn't

I have only ordered takeout but the food is amazing!! My son loves the chicken noodle soup. I enjoy the chicken fingers. The batter is light and fluffy but not over fluffy that the chicken is lost inside. The duck sauce they serve is their own recipe and i have never had anything like it. It is amazing!! The chicken chow mein is fall river style with crunchy noodles, lots of chicken and tons of fresh celery and onions. We have tried other items and have not been disappointed but these are the three we order way to often!!

Gave this place a try after a night of heavy drinking and i was very impressed. Not sure why i hadn tried them before - for once i was 100% sure this was chicken - great quality, neatly stored and very quickly delivered. even the wonton soup had 2 really good pieces of pork more than i have ever seen. Not great for my diet but i am SO excited to have discovered them!
I had the chicken and broccoli lunch special that comes with port fried rice. I got an egg roll, wonton soup, and 2 cokes for $16. Happy customer!

It is the best chinese food on the island.
Service is very quick. From ordering to the food coming out its no more than 5 minutes. Owner is very friendly. We always order the same thing. Shrimp Lomein (my girls give it two thumbs up), House Special Tofu (very soft and fluffy), General Tso's (maybe a bit much on the breading but still good).
For those of you that gave it a lower rating... Well try all the other chinese restaurants on the island. You will give this place a 5 star rating.

I prefer to dine in than doing take out/ delivery because the taste and texture changes after sitting in the to-go box for 15 mins, 30 mins and etc, especially fried appetizers. This applies to food in general.
At this restaurant, the General Tao's chicken, orange chicken and sesame chicken taste differently. I've been to places where all three of the chicken dishes taste the same. If you like spicy food, go with their general tao's chicken. If you prefer something lighter, I enjoy the Szechuan tofu (ma po tofu), the tofu is stir-fried.
Must try? Their home made duck sauce, it
