North Texas is our home, and we are proud to serve the families who have trusted us for years. To us, being local is important and we will continue to keep our local roots flourishing. We've been family focused since our founding over 70 years ago. And while our family may change, one thing will not: keeping the families we serve at the center of our focus.
At R.W. Owens and Son, we have a long tradition of providing you with compassionate and complete funeral care. So while funeral traditions may change and our services change with the times, we remain committed to our tradition of service-now and for generations to come. R.W. Owens and Son began as the dream of a young man when Richard W. Owens earned his embalmers license in 1932.

Our cremation services are provided in our own state-of-the-art facility, where you can trust your loved one will be treated with dignity and respect.
Simply put, pre-planning is the process of identifying what you would like for your final arrangements-from funeral service to casket selection to gravesite-and purchasing those arrangements in advance to relieve your family of the future financial burden. By making your wishes known in advance and providing them in writing to the funeral home and your family, you relieve the family of having to make difficult decisions during an emotional time.
