The cost of cremation is less expensive that then cost of a burial by around 60%. The lower cost is not the only reason people are choosing this option. Other factors include the flexibility that cremation offers in the planning and handling of the remains. While cremation has been around for thousands of years in other cultures, today's modern approach reflects the average person's desire for simplicity and dignity.
