Services
Jones Funeral Home was founded in 1940 and has been in continuous operation in Commerce, Texas, since 1942. The funeral home has been under two family ownerships in its history: the Jones family and the Walker family. The original owners were Mr. and Mrs. Houston Jones (1942 - 1978). After Mr. Jones' death, the Jones family continued to operate the funeral home from 1978 until 1990.
The staff at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home takes great pride in caring for our families, and has made a commitment to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. Honoring your loved one is our top priority, and part of that is assisting you deal with grief during this difficult time.
Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Terry Bryan was born in Paris, Texas, and graduated from Southwood High School in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Our facilities include a spacious chapel for a funeral service or visitation, visitation rooms, offices, and ample off street parking. We can provide requested musical selections from our library of pre-recorded material or we can provide an organist, soloist, and other musicians according to the wishes of the family.
