Wendy worked as a specialist in cardiology and oncology in China before she retired from China in 2001. She studied both Western and Traditional Chinese medicine and practice these medicines through her 30+ years of medicine career. She is a licensed Oriental Medicine practitioner in Pennsylvania since 2004.
Wendy's extensive experience in medicine let her understand that just Western medicine alone is not enough to keep us thriving to the fullest of our life. She uses the best of Eastern medicine to produce the best results for her clients. Services
Today many health insurance companies cover the cost of acupuncture treatments. We accept some major insurances including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, United Health Care, Veterans Affairs, Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation cases. Each of these insurers offer different plans to choose from, some of which include acupuncture benefits and some of which may not, but we will help you find out if your plan covers our services.

Might be the best massage I've ever had. Didn't have to tell her anything, she knew exactly which acupressure trigger points to hit after the initial palpation. Used her hands elbows, hot stones...amazing. intense at times but so so good. I work on my feet and they were killing me, but I'm very ticklish so feet are always iffy for me. She was such a pro, it didn't tickle at all and she got some serious reflexology action going. Literally head to toe, she covered everything, even my scalp. You will not be disappointed!

Born and grew up in South Korea for more than 25 years. I grew up with oriental medicine and acupuncture of course. Trust me. These ladies know what they're doing. My daughter sprained her ankle from a volleyball tournament and got to play the next day. Not only the acupuncture but the massage crew have the best skills. If I go to Philly next year for a volleyball tournament, I am definitely going back to this place! Thank you Doc!! My daughter truly appreciates!!!

My cold is gone! Gone gone gone, thanks to a single session of acupuncture with Howard Chi, who is standing in for Dr. Gao until her return Nov 1 from China. He is fluent in English. He was lovely with my 85 year old mother, who came to him for her first time ever acupuncture treatment for stenosis. He treated her very gently. Lisa gave my mom acupressure after, and that was gentle too.

The owner has extensive experience and she has both western and eastern training. In addition to acupuncture, she also does cupping, and prescribe Chinese herbal medicine. Every worker in this place is friendly. the massage theripist are the best also. they know how to look for the sore point and relief pain. i got excellent results from this place everytime i visited them. their price is moderate, about 2/3 center city price and the cupping is only $30. And if you care the results, this is the money that is well spent.
