Great service! This hotel and its staff helped to prevent our road trip from being ruined. We had to check out of the La Quinta that we had booked weeks in advance because that hotel had no pack-n-plays for our 7-month old. Nor did La Quinta staff make any attempt to accommodate our needs.
We were able to check into the Hotel Santa Barbara immediately. All the staff, from receptionists to maids, from the time I called to inquire about a room and accommodations for our baby to when we left, were friendly and welcoming. The accommodations were comfortable and worth any extra expense. They even made

The location is superb, literally in downtown area, just step out from the lobby and you are in downtown. Very easy to find foods, different kind of food from western food, asian food, etc. but if you bring car, you have to pay for the parking vallet. The room itself pretty big and have 2 queen beds, so its good for a family.

Hotel Santa Barbara is situated right there on State Street and makes it easy to go to and from all the restaurants and shops. Parking fee (valet is only option) was reasonable and they were timely at retrieving it when we were leaving for the day. Hotel was clean and you can see the housekeeping staff does well. When we arrived we were handed a letter from management saying that the water was going to be turned off the next day. We made plans to get out of the room during the planned times of maintenence however when we returned with our little one we had a voicemail that said it would be a couple

My stay at Hotel Santa Barbra wasn't awful. I actually would have called it a fairly nice stay if it wasn't for the nasty bug I found under the pillow. When I informed them of this via email they did not get back to me. I understand things happen, so I didn't want to make a big deal of it but I feel it was a bit unprofessional to not reach back out to me at all. For the prices that they charge I would at least expect the room to be cleaned thoroughly.

5 mins away from the Amtrak station. Girlfriend and I took the Amtrak (business class since you get some food and a glass of wine) to SB and stayed here. Really clean and s fantastic location to go brewery, winery and bar hopping since it's in the middle of everything! Prices are good for the area. Otis the elevator was being renovated during our stay so make sure to check to see if it is operating!

Upon arriving we were told that we can park in any available spot and if we couldn't find anything, then there is additional parking in a lot across the street. We found a spot in the lot and went on with our day. Later that night (9:00pm) while I was enjoying my Valentine's Day dinner, I received a phone call from the hotel stating that I had to move my car immediately. I explained that I was in the middle of dinner and that my partner and I had been told that we were allowed to park in the lot. She told me that I had to move my car within 30 mins, no excuses. I left my dinner early

This hotel is in the heart of Santa Barbara on State Street where there are an abundance of shops and restaurants. They offer parking in the rear and directly across the street where they offer security watching from 10:00PM to 6:00AM...the fee to park is $15.00 a day.
Check in was a BREEZE...super fast as they offered service with a smile.
During our unprecedented time of Covid-19 the hotel visibly seem to make the hotel guest safety their top priority. They seem to go to great measures to make sure all the public spaces were cleaned & sanitized frequently, ensuring social distances,

Had a really nice stay for the weekend here. Only thing is is that this is a very dated hotel and your basically just paying for the location on State St. we had water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom and our room was right next to the laundry shoot so that was kinda loud and annoying. All in all basic hotel with "fancy" decor! Also they have the smallest parking lot and you may have to park far and walk.

I think the location is great if you want to be right where the restaurants are. It's a 15 minute walk to the beach.
I think the rooms are over priced and very small if you are traveling with family. You can barely fit a stroller in the room. No free breakfast or cookies as they advertised.
And the parking is not free and it is $15 per night.

I like you Hotel Santa Barbara. Not only are you walking distance from the train station, you're super close to a lot of great restaurants, coffee shops and nightlife, a perfect combo for those of us who don't want to drive if we don't have to.
When you enter, it's definitely giving you some old retro beach vibes, and the rooms match. Though things are on the dated side, everything is kept up nicely and clean.
Because it's on the main drag, you can definitely hear people walking and talking. Since I was there mid-week, there wasn't a whole lot of foot traffic out

Our visit to the Hotel Santa Barbara started off on a sour note, with the valet parking. We were attending a wedding that afternoon elsewhere in Santa Barbara, and we along with some of the other wedding guests were staying at the Hotel Santa Barbara.
We pulled up in the hotel's parking lot, and followed the sign's instructions to wait for the valet. Nobody showed up, but then someone pulled up behind us and started honking their horn for us to move, so we pulled up and parked ourselves. Turns out, it was the valet who was honking at us. We parked in a space and got out. We spent a few
