If I could give a negative review I would. I canceled my reservation thru the link they sent me for my original reservation confirmation through. It said canceled then a few days before I would have stayed they charged my CC for 1 night. When I called they stated they still have my reservation active and that's why they charged my CC. Of course the manager is there. This hotel is a scam. Apparently I now know I am not the only person who has had a issue.

Comfortable clean rooms with large balconies overlooking a beautiful view of the garden, resort pool, beaches, and ocean. Walking distance to tons of activity, restaurants, and Santa Barbara sights.
Great beds. Solid shower/bathroom. Easy parking. Recovery session in the 21+ hot tub and dry sauna are worth seeking out as well.
Missing was a morning coffee station. Yes, plenty of nearby options, but that added delay with grabbing some hot coffee before an early morning beach stroll. Some other resort type amenities were not available either due to season, or Covid closure, or both; I’m not sure

Couldn't be happier with my stay at Harbor View Inn! Everything was spotless, our room was huge with a nice view, and the huge separate bathtub and shower were so nice to have. The pool and hot tub area were beautiful, and the pool was warm enough to swim in on a 55° night after the sun went down. All members of the staff that we interacted with were great. We got a great recommendation from a guy at the front desk for a specific vineyard to visit (a smaller less popular one in the mountains), and we had a great time. There's a lot to do within walking distance too. This is going to

I love this hotel! It is perfectly located on the beach in Santa Barbara. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. The bathrooms are updated and the shower is fantastic. I stay here every time i come now, and that is like 2 times a month. This hotel is way nicer than the Hilton resort. Just my two cents!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary trip down the coast last summer. We booked a room that wasn't supposed to have a view, and were pleasantly surprised to discover that we could still see the ocean from our balcony. The layout of the facility is a little strange, with indoor staircases and interior hallways to access rooms off of outdoor walkways. Nearby State Street is a total dump these days with hippies and homeless people everywhere. We took one walk up it to grab dinner, and wished we'd spent more time on our balcony.

We had a fantastic stay at Harbor View Inn. The location is top notch! It is beachfront and also at the bottom of State Street. Lots of shopping and dining options at a walkable distance.
*MONEY SAVING TIP* If you stay M-F there is street parking around the hotel that is free and overnight is allowed. We parked on Chapala Street right next to the hotel for two nights no problem just be aware of Street sweeping days (posted on signs). On the weekends it all becomes 90 minute parking so it wouldn't be worth the hassle.
Inside the room the decor is stylish. We had a King, City view room. Our

Loved this hotel. Checking in was fast and easy. All staff from the front desk, the parking attendants, to the room service staff were very friendly and helped us feel welcomed. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Location was also great. We walked from the hotel to downtown for lunch one day and it was about a 15 min walk. The Land Shark tour parks across the street from the hotel and that was fun. We ended each night in the heated pool and jacuzzi in which plenty of clean towels and seating were made available to all guests. Overall this was a great place to stay at and we

This hotel was amazing. We stayed during 4th of July (it was right in front on the fireworks). Our room was large and so comfortable. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make us happy. This hotel is perfect for families. The location can't be beat. We liked so much that we booked another SB trip in August. See you then Harbor View Inn!

The girls at check in gave us a room closer to everything when they saw our 2 little ones so I really appreciated that. The room was nice and spacious. The hotel is walking distance to everything and we loved the large bathroom and private balcony. Very quiet hotel. My kids slept great and enjoyed the heated pool. Only downside was that the sink was clogged on arrival but they fixed it in time. Very attentive staff, we'd definitely consider staying again. We stayed in room 314 on the west wing.

I had a pleasant stay here for my anniversary weekend. You cannot beat the area, it IS LITERALLY BEACH FRONT. The pier is walking distance as well as state street restaurants and night life.
Perfect hotel if you are planning on morning walks or riding your bicycle down the beach.
The room was surprisingly large compared to the newer hotel rooms that are normally provided. Our room came with a balcony.
I loved the esthetic throughout the entire hotel, it has a very vintage hacienda style.
The hotel itself is large and has separate sections. The hotel has a pool and courtyard area. I also

I stayed in the West wing which is their remodeled rooms. The room was nice with a balcony. The balcony faced the back street but the fence was high enough and the tall bamboo plants created some privacy. I guess if I want an ocean view I have to pay more and hope it be available. Overall, my stay was pleasant and was close to everything and across the pier.
I'm from LA and when arriving home I realized I had left my purse in the hotel closet. I called and spoke with Joseph. He recognized how worried I was and immediately helped me by taking my information and confirming they had found

Loved this place! The location was great, view from our room was great, staff polite and helpful, rooms immaculately cleaned. I was quite pleased with the shampoos they use (occitane recensioni) for their rooms. Counter space was a little lacking but they're remodeled or at least new. Rooms have mini fridge and USB charging ports on each side of the beds. Would come back here again when I'm in the area.

Do not stay here if you expect respectful customer service in which many of the reviews explain with examples. It's also a sign when management does not respond to past reviews on Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc.
They kept my money and I never stayed here. I booked a non-refundable room to visit after a yearly work conference ended, then my conference was cancelled due to Coronavirus concerns. I work for a top 10 Fortune healthcare company that supports physicians treating cancer patients (with weak immune systems). We could not risk exposing anyone.
I understand the room rate was nonrefundable
