I followed Stephanie to JT Hair also. She is the only stylist that I trust with my hair these days. She takes time to listen to what I'm looking for and helped me transition from dying my own hair at home to going natural. I have never spent a lot on my hair and was nervous about pricing for highlights to make the transition, but found that it wasn't as pricey as I thought it would be.
I feel like the salon experience is so worth while!

Not sure how they say "modest prices" I went in for haircut/partial highlight and blow dry. According to the website the fee should have been $90. Well my bill was $145.00. SO WITH MY $20 tip I walked out paying $165.00.
My stylist did put some color at my roots to cover the little grey that I have, didn't tell me it wasn't part of the highlights. But I assumed it would cost me more....but another $50 bucks!! That's more than 1/2 of the 2 services I was already paying for!

My stylist Stephanie worked at a competitor and when I finally found that she moved to JT Hair, I immediately called & made an appointment.
JT Hair is owned by a stylist who worked at Fantastic Sam's & wanted to open her own place to be able to give the locals personalized service that was lacking at FS. And he has accomplished this 100%.
All of JT's employees are friendly & very talented & actually talk to their clients instead of each other. This usually happens at the chain salons way too often.
As my hair is tinted & baby fine, I was apprehensive about getting
