Went in just a couple weeks ago to get my highlights filled in so dark couldn’t be seen at the roots. I showed Ciara photos of my hair a few months ago and said I was hoping to get a similar look. She then told me that it was gonna be challenging to get that done in one appointment which I found strange since I get the same highlighting done every time and it’s never been a problem. I also said I wanted faceframing. I was there for 4 hours and throughout the process I was uneasy about how it was looking and I kept double checking to make sure it was what I wanted and she reassured me that yes

I've seen Ciara twice now for blonding with a haircut and style. She is exceptional at what she does. I didn't know that a "blonde specialist" was a thing but I am so happy that I found her on Instagram (@msberrydidmyblonde). She is very knowledgeable and keeping the hair healthy when highlighting is her priority, which I appreciate. My hair feels so soft, I can't believe I just had highlights. Also, the color is blended to absolute perfection! Ciara is truly talented. If you're blonde, go see her!

I highly recommend this cute spot. Kaiti had me feeling SO GOOD when I left my appointment last night. I got A LOT of hair cut off and some color and she did exactly what I wanted but I couldn't quite explain. She understood what I was getting at and executed it beautifully. We talked the whole time and I really had fun. Appointments with this much change take a long time and can drag out, but I really enjoyed my experience at One One Nine. Definitely coming back! :)

I went to have full highlights done in early September and was less than thrilled with my experience. My hair stylist was not attentive and actually kinda off putting. She mentioned that she couldn't get down to the base of the roots and didn't think she should fix a band I had in my hair from pervious coloring because my hair she was worried about damage. I let it go, trusting her judgement, but not 4 weeks out my hair looked like I hadn't been to a salon in months. John is great--super attentive and really professional. Highly recommend, especially if you are East Asian and are looking for someone who can really accentuate texture and add beautiful layers. Their services are pricier, but worth it to me since I don't get my hair cut that frequently.

If you have typical East Asian hair (straight to wavy) and are looking for someone who can really highlight your natural texture, John is amazing. I've gotten two hair cuts from him now and I will miss being in AA after I graduate because they were that good. My hair feels so light and refreshed. May go back per his recommendation to get balayage from Brittany (in which case I will provide an update).

Not only I didn't receive a quality service but also way overpaid for this poor balayage work by Ciara. How can a professional not see a random white paint on my hair..

Have had nothing but positive experiences at One One Nine. I have seen Kelly and Cameron and they are both INCREDIBLE! Would highly recommend to anyone in search of coloring services.

Finding a blonde hair dresser is very very hard! I recently moved here to Michigan, and came across Cierra page. I absolutely loved all her content :) I called the salon and made a appointment for consultation, the day of my appointment cierra was like I can do your color and she took me in! How can I express myself her service was amazing. Her salon is beautiful and very professional. Not to say, her color service was FABULOUS.. my hair looked exactly how I wanted it . My experience here was definitely positive: my stylist was on time for my appointment (I didn’t have to wait), it’s a clean and cute salon, everyone was kind, and my stylist cut my hair well. Came in wanting ash blonde balayage on my hair. I have dark brown hair and told Ciara I had box color previously put on my hair. So she told me I wouldn't be able to go as light as I would like, which is understandable. Little did I know, I would be leaving with red/purple hair. And not only this, it barely is noticeable I did anything to my hair unless I am in light. So I called and spoke to the manager and all she offered was for me to come in and they can try to strip the red out. Made an appt for a root touch and asked about removing the red tones on my ends. Besides dropping the hair brush on a dirty floor, picked it up and proceeded to use it without wiping it. Then proceeded to use the same brush to comb through my curly hair rather than a comb.

She explained the process and was happy to answer any questions as to what was happening. My friends, who are seriously experts in this (back in Orange County), said that she did a GREAT job.
