At Vogel's Collision, we have the tools and know-how to get your vehicle looking and running like new again after a collision. One of the best things about Vogel's Collision is that we are a DRP (Direct Repair Programs) shop. This means we can work for many insurance companies. Since we are a DRP facility, we can easily handle your insurance claim and make the process as seamless as possible. For a shop to qualify to be a direct repair facility, they need to meet a certain criteria.
Do you work with my insurance company and do I have to use the insurance company's recommended repair shop? No, your auto policy allows you to go to the collision repair center of your choice and typically at no extra cost, so long as the center meets the standards required by your insurance company.

My auto insurance company suggested Vogel’s for a collision repair on my Acura. From drop off to pick up the process was smooth. They have great intake staff. Most importantly they did fantastic work. It wasn’t a huge job but the car looks the same as it did before the accident. I would definitely suggest vogles. I hope I never need it but if I do I know I’ll be going back there

My girlfriend and I have both brought our vehicles to Vogel’s when we were in a bind. We were trying to find a place that had good turnaround time. I am self-employed and use my vehicle for work so turnaround time was a big factor to us. They over exceeded our expectations and had our vehicles ready for pick up faster than any other collision shop around. The front staff and Erik were very knowledgeable and helpful they handled all the paperwork with the insurance companies which took a lot of stress off of us. I will never use another collision shop and highly recommend Vogel’s to all my family

This is a good body shop. They were able to do about 80% of what I needed them to do on my van. They welded, painted, grinded, etc and did a good job. The only thing they could not do was a frame pull but that's only because my van is very heavy duty and needs a stronger pulling machine. If you have a normal car, you should be fine with Vogel's. In my case they owned up to that particular limitation, gave prompt service with good communication, and gave a partial refund for not being able to do a complete frame pull. I appreciate their effort. 5 stars.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Vogel's Collision in Rochester where I took my car in for damages to the passenger side of the car to be repaired. I was relieved when I did not have to deal with the Insurance company, all was taken care of through Vogel's Collision. The results were just amazing. Vogel's was recommended to us from the tow truck driver after my husband hit a deer. We are extremely impressed with this shop. Couldn't give them a lower rating for their poor paint workmanship. The paintjob they did started to bubble and ended up blowing up after washing the car. The owner claimed the car was impacted by touching the chipped section of paint with his hand! The primer coat is untouched and clearly shows that the paint layer was lifting off the primer. The road grime had caked into the lifted and cracking paint from a long road trip over the holidays and I even showed him high definition photos to prove it! The owner dismissed the photos as they were PROOF of what actually happened to the paint! There

My tire blew on the highway on my way home and I happened to pull over onto the street where Vogel's is located, and the two men there saved me! They were actually on their way out when they saw me, and without hesitating told me I could pull in so that they could help. I'm not familiar with this type of problem, but they were so so helpful in, to me, an emergency situation. I got so lucky. Thank you!!

You can tell why this place has been around forever. I brought my car in for a repair to one of the side molding pieces that I stupidly scraped up. While it was there, they also repaired scratches to the clear coat and paint on the roof at no cost. The repair was completely unrelated, not covered by insurance, and they did it anyway. That's the kind of thing a business does when they care about their work, and their customers.

Vogel's is the only collision center that my family uses and trusts. They are always fast, reliable, and display excellent workmanship. We have used them a couple times in the past decade and their work is always perfect. I would suggest you steer clear of this place. I originally went here based on my insurer's recommendation. I should have known better. They did a very poor job on my rear bumper and rear door. When I brought this to the owner's attention he became defensive and angry. The door would not even close. It doesn't take a mechanic to realize that. He told me "I needed to put more strength" into shutting my door. He was condescending and did not apologize for the shop's mistake. Never again. Steer clear!

I am so grateful to Vogel's for the work they did on my 2002 Civic. My car has a fair amount of body damage but minimal other problems and low mileage for its age. When I was rear-ended recently, I was worried that that was the end for my car. After a quick Google search, I called Vogel's and was able to bring it in that day for an estimate, which I felt was very reasonable. I was completely disappointed with not only the way my car looked, but also with how rudely the owner treated me. I had to leave my car there twice because the first repair attempt looked terrible. Hindsight is 20/20 ... but I sure wish I had just taken it somewhere else after the first go-round, because it still looked like a quickie job that they tried to do as cheaply as possible when I picked it up the second time. Took my car here to have my door fixed after it blow into another car during a high wind storm and suffered damage. My insurance company recommend 3 places, I really wanted to use someone else who I had used with 5 star results in the past but I went with Vogel's due to insurance and locations location. Boy I sure wish I had gone with my choice. First the price was about $50 dollars more. I figure the point of repair is to fix it so you cannot tell there was damage. Went there on a Saturday morning and gave me a legitimate estimate where the others (NL, etc ...) were not interested unless insurance was involved or having an appointment.
The guys worked seamlessly with my insurance company and car rental company.
Work cost exactly as estimated and returned before promised!

I believe I have only been treated worse by a business owner on one other occasion in my life. We took our car in for service & told it should be ready on Wednesday. We called on Wed. a.m. and were told it would be ready "anytime after 3pm". We arrived at 3:15, paid, and then STOOD in the "waiting room" for 45 minutes until the car was really ready. Last winter I was in a crash and took my first vehicle there, which ended up being a total loss, so there was no money in it for them. Despite this, they were still extremely accommodating and courteous, so when a deer hit my second vehicle I knew where I wanted to take it.

I grew up near Winton and Blossom and we had a repair or two done at Vogel's in the 1970s and '80s. This shop has been around since 1948. I had a simple piece of side molding that was peeling off my car. I thought about fixing it myself, but realized I'd probably have trouble getting it on straight. Went to Vogels expecting it to be ridiculously expensive to fix -- and it was very reasonable. They were so nice and helpful and made it super convenient. I'd recommend them, definitely!
