At Friederick's Family Restaurant, our menu is full of delicious homestyle meals for the whole family! Friederick's food is made fresh to order, even if you enjoy a late breakfast or early dinner. Scrambled egg, hash browns, american & swiss cheese with your choice of sausage, bacon or ham served on a hoagie bun. Hash Browns, your choice of ham, bacon or sausage and two eggs all topped with your choice of sausage gravy or cheddar cheese sauce. Hash browns with peppers, onions and mushrooms with your choice of ham, bacon or sausage and two eggs topped with your choice of sausage gravy or cheddar cheese sauce.
Two of our grilled quarter pound beef patties topped off with American cheese, served on a toasted bun. Grilled to perfection beef patty topped with real cheddar cheese, bacon, onion rings, BBQ sauce and served on a toasted bun. Served with a salad (tossed salad, Cole slaw, or cottage cheese), roll and your choice of potato (unless otherwise specified) *baked potatoes available only on Friday evening. Twenty-one bite size pieces of shrimp deep-fried to a golden brown, served with cocktail sauce. Bread steak fried to perfection sided with mashed potatoes and smothered in country gravy.

The service was prompt and mostly knowledgeable. I had the hot beef sandwich and mashed potatoes. I also had onion rings, which were very good. The gravy looked like someone plopped instant pudding on top of the meet and potatoes (it was very thick), but overall pretty good. The coleslaw was barely palatable, though. Too rich and creamy. .thick cream. Should have been less thick. It was good to see the young staff sweeping and cleaning when they weren't serving. So many times I've seen people playing on their phones, but not here.

Fridays they serve cod, catfish, and shrimp with salad bar. I was very pleased with the variety offered, and the Sicilian Tuna Soup was delicious! Lots of chunks of yummy tuna, and fresh vegetables! And, as a side bonus-- the waitresses Sarah and Stephanie were very cheerful, and made the atmosphere very upbeat. I will definitely come back again. See you next friday!

Not sure what I was expecting when I ordered the rib tips, but it does not explain that they are deep fried. Grossly over fried, burnt on all ends, crisp and crunch where you'd expect soft meat. Mashed potatoes were watery and felt like slime in my mouth. Roast beef dinner had off flavor, like it was old meat that had been sitting for some serious time. Very disappointed. Food has been slowly going downhill.
