The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. I recommend the apple cheese omelette with French fries, but all their food is so yummy! Keep in mind that you may want to understand the service is not “ American diner” fast. It is a little more leisurely paced. They also have a nice assortment of gift items to purchase associated with their mission. We love they are so philanthropic and charitable to families in need.

The Hermitage has a very nice small dining area that is also a gift shop. We had dinner there and it was outstanding! The best French cooking that I have had outside of France. They also have assorted frozen meat products from animals raised locally, fresh bakery goods, and a nice selection of French and some domestic wines.

It was a spectacular evening. Even though they make it crystal clear the food delivery was slow, once we got in the grove and had what we needed before the main course, all service and timing was very well! The blue cheese on the cheese plate was out of this world, the bread fresh, and the main course knocked me and my 3 companions out! I had the chicken Provencale and, well, it didn't last long. They the nun hard-sold use (just kidding) the dessert. I had the creme brulet and it was .. um.. divine! The nuns were friendly and efficient. I hate to give a secret like this away but it was amazing

Wow! This was an awesome slow food experience! Organic food raised with love. I can't even properly put into words the amazing taste of the food. To start, I had a salad that was so fresh and lovely. Honestly, it was so luscious I can't remember the last time i felt this way about lettuce haha. I also had the brisket and it was so tender and flavorful. I would eat here everyday if I could. The service is wonderfully slow and kind. It reminded me of being in Europe. The atmosphere is beautiful, simple, and unpretentious. The grounds are peaceful. You can feel the love and intent in everything they

I'm probably not the type of person who should review this place, they are trying to do a unique dinning experience. But nobody has 4 (11-3:30)hrs to waste for lunch. Food varied from very good (The duck) ok (salmon) to poor (roast pork) at our table. EXCELLENT cheese board. Also since your making a big deal about local products why are you importing Irish butter to Wisconsin.

My wife and I accidently found this restaurant while exploring God's beautiful creation in SW Wisconsin. We found the outside and inside in pristine condition. The ambience of the restaurant was special and we felt the Spirit in our midst with the décor and the music. The waitresses made us feel we were special and were diligent to ensure our experience was as perfect as possible. While we had to wait a little while for our food, we didn't mind as we found the ambiance so relaxing and refreshing. We loved soaking up the peace. The food was delicious. I had the chocolate mousse for desert and recommend
