I'm a certified yoga instructor based in Pasadena. I emphasize a mindful practice and encourage pose modification, body awareness, and non-judgement as we move through asana practice. I hope to create an environment and community for students to find presence in their bodies, both in person and online.
I guide gentle, restorative, and hatha style yoga classes, geared towards beginners. Online classes are perfect for practicing from home or where ever you can get an internet connection! Services
Before we get into setup guidelines, I want to stress that you must be mindful of your body, and come out of poses if you feel any pain or discomfort. Since this is an online group class, I will not be able to give too much individual feedback and it's important that you listen to your body. This is your practice; I want you to feel comfortable and in control.
Yoga props (objects used to aid our practice) are really great for everyone, beginners or regular practitioners. I use them in my own practice all the time, and love them. It's tricky to use them in online classes, since not everyone will have access to props, but if you have them, I strongly encourage you to use them!
