I have been coming to Sando's class for three years. When I started I couldn't do many of the postures. Little by little I have improved and my waist is now thinner and I can move so much more flexibly. As a physician and tennis player, I had significant back pain and muscle pain and was unable to bend significantly.

He is the best there is. He tailors each program according to the individual needs, if necessary. He knows the material well and creates a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. Poses vary with the individual. He corrects each one when necessary. I attended his classes for a number of years (who's counting?) and would never change. I recommend him highly for all levels and ages. Way to go, Sando!

Sando offers and excellent, guided traditional hatha yoga class every Sunday morning. He has a keen eye for helping each student improve their poses and offers alternates for those who have limited flexibility or injury. Each week we follow the same progression of poses, starting with breathing and sun salutation, then progressing up to harder poses at the peak of the class and slowly ramping down to relaxation at the end. Its a good, safe class and the repetition really lets you see your improvement over time (as well as where you may need work during different times of the year). Sando is
