There's two brake varieties. Some cars, including most Honda, Toyota and Ford makes arrive designed with both drum brakes and disc brakes. Right now, most modern vehicles have got at the very least a couple of disc brakes. Usually the disc brakes are equipped on the front wheels. Some get disc brakes upon all 4 wheels.
Most vehicle manufacturers recommend changing the oil once a year or every 7,500 miles in passenger car and light truck gasoline engines. For diesel engines and turbocharged gasoline engines, the usual recommendation is every 3,000 miles or six months. If you read the fine print, however, you'll discover that the once a year, 7,500 mile oil change is for vehicles that are driven under ideal circumstances.

I am very upset with MYSELF for agreeing to repairs with this shop without first getting a clear understanding of the rates. I don't have the bill in front of me but the cost of a PA inspection, oil change and headlight replacements were approximately FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS. FIFTY for an oil change (about average)...A HUNDRED for inspection (25% to 50% above average) and two hours of labor at about ONE HUNDRED THIRTY AN HOUR which is above some NEW car dealer rates.
They wanted an ADDITIONAL FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS to install a new battery! At least I declined that and AAA did it for $180

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value
I just got my tire puncture repaired within 15 minutes of reaching them. Though it was a busy morning for them they understood my urgency and immediately put a person to work on my car and brought me back to my schedule without any trouble. I would definitely consider them for my future auto repair needs. Very nice and professional.

They had a part in their shop that broke which prevented them from servicing cars.
Never returned calls or offered to book an appointment for a later time. In fact, they still haven't responded to my request for an appointment almost three days later. Very disappointed in the way they handled this after having been a customer numerous times.
Plymouth Auto and Tire text and call and text you to book appointments with them but then can't follow up when you actually need it.
Will never be using them again.

I stumbled upon Plymouth Auto & Tire a year ago for an inspection and thought the staff there was great. Prior to that I was just a gas customer. Inspection rolled around this year and I used them again, why give the money to the dealer. Sadly it turned out I needed new tires and breaks. I got their price, then contacted the dealer. Plymouth Auto was about $200 less expensive for the job. Yesterday they completed the work and once again, the staff was great. I truly can't say enough good things. If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop, give them a try. I'm glad I did.
