Sue was absolutely amazing! It was my first time with this stylist, and I completely trust her with my hair. She is very knowledgeable and was happy to help me. She made sure I left feeling satisfied and perfected, and I even booked another appointment for a coloring. Love Bishops!! The quality is worth the price, and the staff is absolutely wonderful!

I’ve been coming here for awhile and the consistency of their service and professionalism has been solid all around. Eunice has been my hairstylist for years and I can always rely on her service at all times. Sue (other stylist) is excellent as well. Won’t be switching salon unless I have to physically move in the future.

I am 57 years old and have traveled around the world. I have never in my life left a bad review for a business - anywhere at any time. My daughter just got her hair cut and colored at U&G hair salon. My daughter is having a difficult time in her life right now, and treated herself to a new hairdo as a way trying to feel better.

I needed to have my haircut so I could look good for my Mother's funeral. I didn't have my haircut for 4 months due to the pandemic. This was the only salon that I was able to get an appointment with since my normal place wasn't opened yet. Elaine cut my hair and she did a fantastic job. She cut it exactly how I liked it. She dried it exactly like I do. I was very impressed since most first time haircuts don't turn out the way I like. I will definitely use her again!

I went here for a wash and blow out. It was great until the Jesus music started playing. And then I noticed the pamphlets everywhere, even in product boxes!!! It made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable the whole time:( Eunice was nice but it just sucks when people push their religions especially since most young people are not religious. Be whatever u want but don't bring it into ur business. I also don't think the shampoo was color safe as I went in with red hair and left with light brown won't be back. Only left 2 stars because they fit me in on short notice and my hair

I followed my hair stylist Martha here about a year ago or so. She's been doing my hair for the last couple of years & I couldn't just let her go!! When you find your person you stick to them. Martha has always left me feeling satisfied each time I come & see her. She knows just how I like my hair & her expertise goes beyond! I would recommend her to anyone :)

Sue does a fantastic cut and highlight. I have been a faithful customer since the salon opened over 4 yrs ago. In fact I live in DC and drive to Gainesville just to get my haircut. She has style and vision and is able to translate your visions of your hair into a reality.
The shop is always clean and the owner is always very nice. They are accommodating and very professional. You will not be disappointed here. The prices are reasonable and they have added a color and cut specialist to the already talented staff.

I decided to give U and G a try and Eunice cut my hair. I have to say this is the best cut i have had in a long time and up there with the best i have ever had. Eunice took her time with my hair and it shows. She sincerely wanted to do an excellent job, was very polite, and showed that she cares about her customers. I have an interview coming up soon and I feel more confident than ever. The location is convenient as well but is sort of hidden. Anyways, I would definitely recommend giving U and G a try. The price for a men's haircut was very reasonable and for the quality I received, I got

I went in for a wash, style and blow dry (straighten) and she fixed a haircut for free that I had done just a few weeks ago. I will be back when I'm ready for a cut and will be back again for the hair style service in the next day or so!
Not as inexpensive as a Supercuts (which you might think from looking at the store front), but not as expensive as a fancy-schmanzy salon. All in all, a good place which for me is closer to home that the other place I was going...

I went back again recently and worked with Lena. She noticed some problem areas (bony part of my head, some overgrowth of hair in other areas, etc.). Don't get me wrong, my hair looks basically normal, but she indicated everyone has certain parts of their head and hair that they can improve by styling.
She also noticed that I had a natural part in my hair and asked if I wanted to remove it. She indicated that if I removed it I would have more flexibility in terms of styling my hair to the right, to the left, straight, etc.
I said ok let's go for it, and she spent about 20 minutes
