Marine Design Dynamics, Inc. (MDD) was founded in 2005 by entrepreneurial engineers with the goal of providing the highest quality engineering and program management services to the US Navy, Department of Defense, and commercial clients. MDD is an innovation-centered, small business specializing in the naval architecture and engineering design of advanced vessels and marine systems.
The Naval and Marine industries face new challenges and concerns, including environmental issues, the increased demand for energy efficiency and energy conservation, sophisticated global market demands, fiscal and economic constraints, and complex political climates. Marine Design Dynamics was formed to provide innovative solutions in response to these perpetual challenges.
The philosophy which drives Marine Design Dynamics is to encourage innovation and creativity. The future of MDD lies in its ability to invent new strategies and methods (as well as improving upon the ones in place) in order to accomplish its current and future goals of harnessing advancements in science and technology.
The MDD team of Naval Architects, Marine Engineers, other ship-related engineers and technical experts carry extensive experience within every phase of ship design, from requirements definition, detailed design to construction. MDD is currently providing Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering services to the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, as well as its commercial customers.
