Founded in the year 2000 by John and Shannon Sharpe, Rivertown Fitness Center has come a long way from its beginnings in a much smaller building located off of 701 S in Conway, SC.
When Rivertown Fitness Center first started out, John and Shannon's passion for providing fun/effective group exercise classes, personalized weight training services and a comfortable/clean enviroment drove them to ditch the corporate world, and gave them the impetus to turn hard work and inspiration into to a dream come true.

Services
Six month membership contract. Access credential fee -$25.00 one time start up charge. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail via (brivo at Rivertown Fitness) to download and add your unique gym access credential. Monthly dues are drafted via bank debit or credit card. One year membership contract.
Are you ready to find out which class is best for your child? Please contact McKenzie today at (843) 340-0880 to schedule an evaluation tumble session to see which class will best suit your child. Beginner tumbling classes will teach the fundamentals of tumbling. Students in this class will work on basic progressions: forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, handstand drills, cartwheels, round-offs, front and back walkovers.
Shannon Sharpe entered the fitness industry in 1990, and has her personal training and aerobic certification through AFAA. After successfully working many years in the corporate industry, Shannon decided to risk it all and go into the field she is most passionate about. An athlete all her life, Shannon has a strong interest in working with sport specific athletes focusing on speed and agility training.
Jonathon Sharpe spent 2 seasons at Conway High School coaching inside and outside linebackers, safeties, and working with special teams. He served 2 years at Aynor High School as the Defensive Coordinator. Jonathon also played linebacker and running back at Conway from 2003-2006 where he was a part of two State Championship Runner-up teams in 2003 and 2006.
John Sharpe is the Co-Owner of Rivertown Fitness Center and runs a full time Pest Control Company. Sharpe Pest Services is a family owned and operated company. As a family man, my wife, children, pets, and home are as important to me as yours are to you. I started this company for this very reason: to provide professional termite, pest and moisture control services for families and their homes.

If you are looking for a place with plenty of barbell racks and deadlift mats this is where you should go. Signing up online and getting the app to scan in can be a little different than most places but the experience was streamlined and easy and the place is amazing if you want a serious gym built for Olympic lifts and compound movements!
