Scott W. Sheen earned his law degree from Northern Illinois University and became licensed to practice law in 1993. He has tried numerous bench and jury trials, both civil and criminal, evidentiary hearings and arbitrations, wrote appeals, and contested motions. Mr. Sheen is married with three children, lives in St Charles, and is active in coaching youth wrestling locally.

I have retained Scott's services for well over a decade, I have used him for both traffic and criminal. For all of my traffic cases, I have never lost my license and I know all cases are different. For all my criminal cases, I have not been incarcerated of anything. On my latest case, the state wanted 3-5 years in department of corrections so Scott thought it was wise to do a 402. We did a 402 and the judge came back with 2 years probation, I agreed with it just to get the case done and over with so I could move on with my life. The alleged victim would not agree with that so the state would not

I would have to agree with some of the negative comments about Mr. SHEEN. He's not professional and is not going to have your interest. Not going to protect you and you will end up in jail or in all fairness you're not going to be satisfied at the end. All he cares about is money. Stay away if you want to have a good outcome at the end. Any negative comments about this firm. They are going to assume we never existed. Just the way they had our interest.

So unfortunately, I had to temporarily take down this review per Scott's request. He demanded that I remove my "bogus review" in exchange for him to release his lien which was just simply a ploy to get the completely accurate review removed as his wife, Michelle, had emailed me right after the call advising the release had already been submitted to the defense about 7 months prior. Which is funny because he had already breached his own contract, and clearly had made tons of unethical decisions and with how he practices law. The entire office is based on always

1st contacts for legal help Scott suggested I go online and do it myself. After months and NOT able to do myself I called and Scott and Steve were in court as I was told by receptionist (?). She took my name and number and told me Steve would return my call. As of today it's been 6 days. Doesn't appear they are in the business of helping others.
After sorting out the confusion ( a answering service not conveying my message) Scott has been in touch with me to help and expedite my legal needs. Very nice and professional. Definitely here to make a difference and help the people with their needs.

Scott and Laura have been a true blessing for anything legal I've needed. I'll be honest I was bent over by Jeffery levings office and another firm in down town Elgin. Lorena was fantastic! She was professional and was always looking out for the interests of my family. She helped us through our whole home buying process, but was especially helpful when our mortgage company was being less than professional and holding up our closing.
