Services
Seawright Funeral Home was founded in 1925 and has remained a respected institution among residents of the Inman, SC area since the very beginning. Opened by Mr. H.W. Seawright in a store building, the business was originally Seawright's Furniture and Undertaking. The current location opened in 1929 where a chapel was added in 1983 and an on-site crematory in 2001.
Whether you choose a burial or cremation, there are many opportunities to create a loving, personalized and dignified tribute to your loved one. Our respectful staff at Seawright Funeral Home can assist you in planning any of the services we offer, detailed below. This option, also sometimes called a wake, allows family and friends to come together to pay their last respects.
A main element of a traditional funeral service is the viewing or visitation service. In many ways, this one aspect of the burial process is the most important. However, before communicating why we at Seawright Funeral Home feel the visitation or viewing is so beneficial, it is important to learn exactly what this service entails.
Though funeral services can often be sad or upsetting times, they're also very important and have many benefits to help loved ones through the grief process. The service is a way of memorializing the loss of that special person and can be customized to a wide degree to meet the wishes of the person you've lost.
After losing a loved one, one of the first decisions you will have to make is determining what type of funeral service you will put together for the departed. In some cases, your loved one may have preplanned their service and left their wishes behind for you to follow. However, if this isn't the case, you will be tasked with making the decisions on how to honor your loved one.

Chad and the team at Seawright were absolutely amazing! Chad handled all of my mother’s funeral arrangements flawlessly, with dignity, tactfully, and with respect. Our situation was a little more complexed because I needed to transport my mother from SC to her final resting place in NY. Chad was very aware of my sensitive timeline and ensured to have all the paperwork ready for my trip transfer. They were very accommodating and compassionate during those difficult moments. Although the circumstances were very sad and hectic, the folks at Seawright made it all easier and possible to endure. I

Seawright Funeral home is the best around! In 11th grade I job shadowed Travis Page -(Funeral Director) and had an amazing experience learning the ways of the funeral business. They actually DO care about their customers' satisfaction and do the absolute most to help family members during the hardest times. In May of this year I gave birth to my twin baby girls. One baby girl lived and is healthy, the other one was born sleeping. She passed at 21 weeks and 6 days. I called Seawright Funeral home and asked about getting her cremated. Not only did they respond professionally, but they also had lots

Seawrights is fantastic! My grandmother passed away 09/25 & we had her memorial service planned for the following Monday. My grandfather actually became ill and they gave us the option to postpone it. They were so nice about it, also super sensitive to us and my entire family. They definitely made my granny’s passing easier.

I was very impressed working with Seawright's staff while fulfilling my Dad's last wishes. They were very kind, polite and clear while dealing with the details and necessary paperwork. Their prices are very good too.
I would strongly recommend their services to anyone making final preparations for a loved one.

Seawright's is the absolute best funeral home! Their staff treats everyone like family. In a time of need, they respond with sympathy and care. No matter what your budget is for yourself or your family's end of life expenses, Seawright's will take the time to explain your options and find the best arrangements to fit your wishes. When my grandmother died, I was able to rest assured that she was completely taken care of and her service was exactly what she would have wanted.
