I was connected to Steve Carter and Adam Potts through Zillow when my wife and I were looking for our first home . Within 30 minutes I got a call from Steve who asked me all the neassary questions to get me started in finding a home and within my price range. We decided to go with FHA financing and honestly FHA now a days makes it a REAL pain to get a loan for a home but Steve and Adam helped me every step of the way and kept me informed as to how the process worked and what was next . They were very nice and professional ! They obviously knew what they were doing cause even with all the hoops

Steve and Adam were amazing to work. Very professional, honest and just great at what they do. My husband and I just closed on our forever home and when I tell Steve and Adam was on the job diligently and before you knew it we were homeowners. I am definitely their favorite client. I worked with Steve for 3 months on a deal. Despite him pre approving me he was not able to get anything done. It's a very long story but I would suggest working with an actual mortgage loan originator and not Steve. He is just a broker and has absolutely no decision making power at all on loans. His job is to just "paint a picture." He does not have any real and meaningful relationships with any underwriters - or decision making power.
He will just shop your loan around wasting all of your time and money. In the time I have worked with him I have lost about $5000 in earnest money and other expenses

Steve and Dylan were great to work with. Dylan was a great asset to me. Answers emails promptly, kept me posted when we needed documents. Being self employed we had to provide a lot of documents. Dylan walked me through setting up communication accounts while Steve worked through the lender. The two of them are a great team. If you use them I recommend you reply promptly to anything they need to help them get things back to the lender. Thank you guys for putting us in our home.

We are so great full our realtor, Jeremy Lafferty, recommended Steve Carter. Steve's office had a short window to complete our rather challenging task, but they exceeded our expectations. Steve and Dylan are a great team and made obtaining our loan a breeze. They answered all of our questions in a timely fashion and made gathering all of our documents far easier than anticipated. Contract fell through the day of Closing due to debt ration? Steve should have known this even before pre qualifying the buyers. The buyers are now out inspection money, appraisal money and almost lost deposit. Seller has to start over and put home back on the market.. 20 years of Real Estate and never had a lender so negligent.
