After Sara's early death, Scott was lovingly raised by Louise P. Bowman on Beacon Hill. Scott attended Mercersburg Academy before joining the Army and being honorably discharged in September of 1966. He attended Denison University in Granville, Ohio where he met his wife Melinda Bowman, nee Wardwell.
As families look to us to help them celebrate the lives of their loved ones in a unique way, our facilities reflect their expectations unlike any other in the area. The funeral home was originally built as a private residence and today in addition to being a beautiful funeral home it is our home along with our 3 cats: Beasley, Betsy and Cassy.
