Deciding on the right counseling office and therapist is an important decision. I strive to offer a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for those looking for self-discovery, balance, and growth. Throughout the counseling process, you will have the opportunity to create goals, identify and enhance your inner strengths for self-empowerment, and use those strengths to help overcome challenges and obstacles.

Services
My name is Virginia and I am a bilingual licensed professional counselor (LPC) practicing in the Stone Oak area in San Antonio, TX. As a therapist, I provide support and guidance in a sensitive, empathetic, and nonjudgmental atmosphere. In counseling, I use a variety of approaches and expressive therapeutic techniques such as play, art, and writing that best fit my client in order to help facilitate self understanding and personal empowerment.
I offer reduced private pay rates but vary case-by-case. For more information on reduced rates, please ask in advance or while scheduling your first appointment. If you are a new client please send our office a message through the contact form or via text at 210.960.5728 with any questions on how to setup your first appointment.
A variety of therapeutic approaches are used with children and teens which may include play, art, journaling, music, and other expressive interventions. Please call our office at 210.960.5728 or send us a message through the contact form if you should have any questions on how to setup an initial counseling appointment.
Walk and Talk counseling is a highly desirable option for those that prefer to meet in an outdoor setting versus in-office. This approach to counseling allows the client and therapist to meet in a preferred walking trail, park, or community area. The first appointment will be in a traditional office setting to assess needs, review therapeutic goals, and agree on walking site.
If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. The Trevor Project offers a 24-hour toll-free confidential crisis and suicide prevention helpline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth. Provides 24 hour crisis screen and assessment for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

I have known Virginia professionally for several years and often refer clients to her. Virginia's clinical skills are excellent and her care for her clients is considerable. Virginia is a knowledgable source regarding connecting with adolescents and helping them to heal from difficult life experiences, and I consult with her frequently.

I've been privileged to get to know Virginia in a professional capacity over the last several years. As a therapist myself, there are times when I've needed to consult on cases or even refer clients out and Virginia is someone I've turned to time and time again. She is a great resource for anyone needing therapy for their child or adolescent. She competently provides services in both English and Spanish. And she is a genuinely compassionate person who really cares about moving her clients toward successful outcomes.
