I would recommend Danny to anyone. He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and detail oriented - which is what you want in a home inspection. They inspected our house when we moved in, 15 months ago. missed every single problem that existed in the house. 2 HVAC systems - "looks fine, I think". both were not working and required significant repairs. ALL appliances in kitchen required replacement, leaks in many faucets, etc.
on the bright side - we were the only idiots that proceeded with the house, and were able to score it, as every other family ran away from so many problems. 65K later, and we have the house of our dreams, in a very competitive market. I guess a thank you for Boise Home Inspections is indeed due...

Could not be more disappointed. BHI literally missed everything wrong with my extremely expensive purchase. My water main and most of my electrical needed completely torn out and replaced. Scheduled a meeting with the owner to address and he cancelled the night before and sent me to his insurance, which wasted months of my time and stonewalled me. Take your business anywhere else if you want a professional inspection.

Ray Ash of Boise-Home Inspections is in a class all by himself. We purchased a home and wanted an unbiased inspection of the home. Mr. Ash inspected our home and went through the house from the roof top to the crawl space. He took numerous pictures and patiently went through his findings thoroughly with us.
His final report was sent to us the same day as his inspection was completed.
We definitely will refer Mr. Ash every chance we get.

My future home was inspected and a few issues were found. My inspector was great at flagging things that would have been major repair issues (mold in the attic, roof needing repairs) and came back after the repairs were done to verify it. He also was stung by bees trying to get to the air condition unit (the previous owner kept bees) and was willing to come back and re-check things that couldn’t be checked due to the homeowner. He was wonderful to work with and was flexible with the dates needed. I would use this company again because it was such a positive experience.

I can't say enough nice things about the expertise and knowledge this company has when it comes to home inspections. Recently the owner Danny went back out to a home to confirm a few thins on the inspection report that a seller disagreed with. They also called my client direct, met him at the home and followed up several times to make sure all questions and concerns were addressed! I would give a 10 star if I could! Boise Home Inspections is fantastic! They were extremely thorough. The inspection report was so detailed and all communication was fast and easy.
