At Leander Taekwondo America, we strive to create an environment that fosters learning and growth. Through our reinvention of the tried-and-true methods of tae kwon do training, we have built programs suited for every age group that are guaranteed to help each student meet their goals both in and out of our studio!

Mr. Lacy has been passionate about taekwondo since he was 4 years-old and it shows. His classes are informative, entertaining, dynamic, and structured in a way kids crave. It's so nice to have a sport you don't have to coerce your kids into attending - they're always ready for class. Mr. Lacy is an amazing martial artist and a superb teacher.

Kids Taekwondo Report

Leander Taekwondo America is a firm believer in the base principles of martial arts. In our Kids Taekwondo programs, we strive to build not just martial arts experience, but to help families all over Leander give their children a fun, safe, and exciting environment to develop self-confidence, discipline, and mental focus!

Teen Taekwondo Report

As our students' age bracket increases, so does the depth of their Taekwondo training. Our studio offers Leander's best Teen Taekwondo program, and focuses on developing more complex maneuvers and implementing full routines to provide a more intensive look into the art of Tae Kwon Do's signature style.

Adult Taekwondo Report

Taekwondo is a storied and world-famous martial art renowned for its use of flowing, graceful movements in order to control opponents and master one's own energy to its utmost efficiency. Regular practice of Taekwondo has shown to offer a multitude of benefits to physical, mental, and emotional health, and to increase one's overall quality of life.

My daughter and son have been trained by Bobby Lacy since 2012 and I have been grateful for him to have taught both my children not only Taekwondo but amazing life skills that will remain with them throughout their life! Mr. Lacy is an extremely talented martial artist and an even better instructor.

He is so good with the kids! All the kids seem to really enjoy it. He has very high expectations but he earns the respect from the kids and they seem to strive to meet those standards.

Mr Lacy is an amazing instructor and always finds unique and fun ways to motivate and challenge kids during class. He not only makes it fun for the kids by incorporate games, yet ensures there is optimal levels of discipline maintained at all times. My 5 yr old daughter has been going to his Lil Dragons class for over a year now and continues to remain motivated and interested in attending till this day. I highly recommend his school, you can always try out his free class before committing.

Mr. Lacy is about as amazing as it gets. He does an excellent job with the young children and the older children. He's done great instilling discipline with our children. We will be coming for a long time! Any one wondering, think no longer and just do it!!!

I highly recommend Sensei Lacy and his school. It is fantastic or all my kids. His family deal make classes affordable for the 6 of us. He is awesome! My oldest son ad daughter are starting to participate in… competitions which is rad. I love that he teaches responsibility, respect, and honor as part of the curriculum. Come join us!!!

It's awesome. We have the family plan which allows all of us to take classes every week. There are 6 of us so it's a deal.
Master Lacey is great and excellent with little kids, he makes class fun and still challenging.

Our two children are enrolled here, it’s been a wonderful experience. One of our children is very shy and the teacher picked up on it and has helped him adapt in a very nurturing way. The instructors are wonderful. We highly recommend this business. A++

My relationship with Leander Taekwondo America is not that of a student, but rather of someone with a business relationship with the school's leadership. Our interactions with the leaders--particularly Bobby--have been great. They are professional, responsive, innovative, kind, and extremely passionate about providing their students with the best… experience and tools. Based on our professional relationship, I know they care deeply for their students and their experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for martial arts instruction in the area.

My 7 year old is very shy, and she takes a while to warm up people. The point of taking taekwondo was to bring on some confidence for her, and also teach her self defense, and get her to become active. I was a little worried at first, but she took Mr. Lacy really fast, and she did so well. The environment is amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone.

For years now, we have been going back and forth about signing our child up for TaeKwonDo, but we were worried about whether our son was going to enjoy it. We decided to pull the trigger and attend one of Mr. Lacey's Class in the Grass free classes, and decided to do a trial 2 weeks. It was the best decision ever. Our son has enjoyed attending and we have seen so much growth in the 2 1/2 weeks since. Mr. Lacy hosted a taekwondo demonstration for my Girl Scout Troop and it was a wonderful experience! He his very kind and patient and great with kids! My girls only had 1 hour with him and they learned so much. They went home feeling confident and strong.
