Your child will build self-confidence, respect, and self-discipline when taking Tiger-Rock's kids martial arts classes in Texas. Our lessons instill self-discipline, self-confidence, and respect for authority. We have various character building activities that will help your child grow on and off the mat.
Tiger-Rock Martial Arts Training System incorporates taekwondo, self-defense training, life skills education, and physical fitness into a life-changing workout suitable for all ages. Much of our martial arts system is based in the Korean martial art of taekwondo. Originating in postwar South Korea, taekwondo arrived to American shores in the early 1970s.

We chose Tiger Rock because they had a waiting area closed off from the mats. I had a rowdy toddler at the time who wanted to join his brothers. That toddler (7) is currently a brown belt, and my 12 yr old and 10 year old just received their black belts. We have been more than pleased with all of the instructors, especially Master Reade. He’s no nonsense and has expectations of his students. He wants them to succeed not only on the mat but in life too.

My son has been attending for a year now. He’s progressed through the ranks thanks to an excellent team of instructors! The instructors love to teach kids, are very patient and kind with them, but command respect and strict discipline.
I joined the academy this past week since I’ve enjoyed seeing my son work so hard!

My daughter loves this place! She learns valuable life lessons of respect, punctuality, and self-defense in a safe, caring environment. Master Reade and the staff are supportive and so great with the kids! Her self-esteem improves as she completes each step in her journey. She plans to be a part of the Tiger Rock family for years to come. She even aspires to work there, one day. Fantastic place for kids, teens and adults. It feels like a family. Master Reade is very passionate about martial arts, a very talented instructor for all ages and a caring person. The staff is great and my kids and I love attending classes. Pricing is very attractive, and you can take try out classes! I'm glad I found his place!

My son goes to the Gaston location for lessons three times a week. I've already seen such an improvement in my son's confidence and the his level of focus. I can honestly say that he's more driven now thanks to Tiger Rock-South Katy. Master Reade and Master Jok are awesome and always go above and beyond! We recommend this to everyone and anyone. Well worth the price.
