I'm so happy for the opportunity to show you who we are at Trent Family Dentistry, and what Smiles mean to us! I began practicing as a Dentist back in 1993 because I've always believed that when people feel good about their Smile, they feel good about themselves. I've always seen each tooth as it's own tiny work of art, and my passion is to bring out each tooth's natural beauty.
We LOVE what we do, and I'm sure you'll see that comes through. We're here to help, so please feel free to call our office with any questions you may have. Thanks, again, so much for coming to our website! I hope for the chance to see you soon!

Services
Smiles all around! We're in business to help you love your smile, and you'll see just how much we love to show ours! Clear Agenda - before we tend to anything you may need, we take the time to fully explain what we'll be doing, why we're doing it, and what you'll feel. Time Frame - How much time you'll need to allow for a visit depends on what we're doing together that day.
Nothing is more likely to keep you from flashing your smile than when you suffer from broken or missing teeth. The key is understanding the differences. A crack or fracture may go unnoticed, or not seem relevant enough to tend to. But, while you're letting it go, plaque or bacteria may be making their way into that damage and cause much greater damage than the actual crack or fracture itself, threatening the entire health of the tooth.
Cavities are holes in the outer layer (enamel) or inner layer (dentin) of the tooth due to decay brought on, usually, by the presence of plaque on your teeth. Plaque is formed from bacteria from food sugars left on the tooth, and the acid from plaque is what damages the enamel and causes a cavity to form.
Ever brush your teeth, or take a drink of something hot or cold and have this overwhelming sensitivity reaction in your teeth or gums? Tooth sensitivity is usually caused by the presence of a cavity. It's often a sure sign that there's decay present, and damage occurring. Sensitivity can also be the sign of wear on the enamel of your tooth due to grinding, or cracks forming on or along your tooth.
Did you know that the color of your teeth naturally comes from inside the tooth? As we age, wear and tear on our enamel can expose a darker internal shade, and make our teeth seem dull or discolored. Likewise, what we choose to eat and drink can greatly affect the color of our teeth.
