Ever since my days as a tutor in high school and college, I have had a passion for education and for helping children. I began my path to pediatric dentistry in college at the University of Buffalo, where I worked as a volunteer dental assistant until my graduation in 2002. While assisting dental students with patients, I found I loved engaging the children in the pediatric practice.

The first time coming here and I have to say I’m so glad that we came here. My son loved it and I was pleased. Very calm and friendly atmosphere and they have bubble parties. I thought that was so cool. The Dentist knew what he was talking about and explained everything. If you’re worried about bringing your kids here then stop worrying. It’s really a nice place and the staff makes it better.

I recommend Midlothian Children’s Dentistry, especially if you have little kids who are nervous about seeing a dentist. My kid is seeing Dr. Patel and she and her team have been so nice and patient. They are never in a rush, and they help my kid relax and have a positive experience.
The staff is welcoming and nice, providing information and options. Also, they are doing a follow up on my kid's procedure!
For us, it is a plus that some Dr. Patel's assistants speak Spanish, that help my kid to feel more confident before and during procedures.

Took my 2 y/o son for his first dentist appt and the staff was wonderful. My son was timid but the staff made him feel comfortable and excited about getting his teeth cleaned and checked. If there is one thing that will get a 2 y/o excited, it’s a bubble party. Dr Patel was great. Explained everything and was very gentle with my son.

Today was my first time visiting the office and the staff is wonderful and Dr. Patel is amazing. So sweet and kind. Made the visit very enjoyable for my daughter as opposed to her being terrified. She interacted with her and I greatly appreciated her explaining everything in detail for me and making sure that I understood. So happy to have found this practice!!
