Welcome to the American School of Martial Arts and the exciting world of Kung Fu as taught by Grandmaster Don Baird. We are the oldest and most documented school of martial arts in Burbank, with a local history of almost 50 years. And, we have been enjoying our location in Palmdale nearing 20 years.
Both schhols are continuing to make wonderful contributions to their respective communities. In both of our schools, Grandmaster Don Baird encourages friendly, family style atmospheres and offers classes for pee wees, juniors, adults and law enforcement. Our current members range in age from 4 to around 80!

Services
Traditional forms of Chinese martial art are trained for coordination, balance, concentration, perfection of movement, meditation, discipline, and self defense. They are beautiful, powerful and amazingly effective. Many of these wonderful forms date back as far as the 1600's, relating to the eras of Hayden, Bach, Mozart and later Beethoven.

Amazing experience. I called yesterday for information and my girls came in for a 1st class today. Master Maria and staff were amazing with them. She made sure my girls didn't feel like they did not know anything. My girls survived 1st class and can't wait for next class. Thank you for all your help. Look forward to seeing my girls improve and get better.
