Services
In 2004, a group of Christian lay people with a vision to create a place for persons with mental illness began meeting. In 2007, Crown Centre for Counseling, a 501C3, non-profit, Christian counseling organization established in 1988, merged with this group of lay people to form SpringHaven in a collaborative mental health effort.

As the research, efficacy and current needs were explored and affirmed we began using the EAGALA model. Services were provided in the small aisle of a three stall barn and when weather permitted outdoors with three horses. The effectiveness of this treatment modality became readily apparent and by June of 2011 the Equine Therapy Program became a weekly part of our intensive group therapy program.
Jon Bohley M.A., LPCC-S has a Master's Degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.
