Mill Creek Family Services is a group psychotherapy practice with an experienced team of providers. We're here to serve our community. Having concerns about our children is a normal part of being a parent. We all know that mental and emotional health is essential for young people to grow and thrive. However, sometimes issues develop to a level where additional help is needed. At Mill Creek Family Services you get the support, guidance and practical strategies you need - for the ones you love.
While nearly all couples go through times of struggle and challenge - sometimes the conflict or distance just becomes too much. The stresses of everyday life can put a huge strain on a relationship. Severe stressors may include resentment, intimacy issues, lack of trust, miscommunication, or infidelity.

At Mill Creek Family Services, we work with you to create a practical plan to get you feeling better. Our providers help you find direction, relief, and peace. We are located in the historic Nickerson McChesney Mansion with therapy offices on the first and second floors. You will find plenty of nearby street-side parking or in the mansion's circular drive. Come relax in the old-world charm of this historic home, and enjoy breath-taking views of the Puget Sound.
Whether you are looking for individual therapy, child/teen therapy, or couples counseling - we are here for you - virtually! Our telehealth therapists are available to serve you wherever you are in Washington State. Telehealth eliminates you having to deal with travel time, traffic, and parking. You don't even have to be in the area of our physical locations.

This place is ran in such a way that does a disservice to the community. Their back end office work is a joke at best. Their scheduling department seems like they don't know what they are doing. They don't call you back or get you in within a timely manner. Or when you are in transition they make no effort to make sure you get scheduled. I was transferred to a different therapist, and never was scheduled despite multiple calls, I received one phone call. When my son was transferred the leaving therapist had to hand hold to get it done out of the kindness of her heart.

Chuck Bartlett at MCFS is great! My son looks forward to every appointment. My son says "He is really helpful and great with kids!". The help, support, and time he gives my son is invaluable and has been a blessing. He listens, then addresses the needs and encourages, and this has been very successful and helpful. He told us that he sees the change and is very proud of my son. We recommend him to anyone.

Our teenage son is much less stressed out and anxious after few months of counseling with Chuck Bartlett. Chuck has a unique ability to listen to our son and validate him while at the same time helping him see and understand the bigger picture. Now, our son gets along with class mates much better, has a positive behavior in school and at home, has better grades, and he is a much happier person all due to the counseling sessions he has with Chuck. We only wish we had found Chuck sooner.

I highly recommend Chuck for counseling services. Not only has he been great getting to know me (listening to what was important to me) and helping me he has provided me with tools & strategies to use and directions in how to use them. When a new issue comes up he is able to incorporate it & give me perspective and a new strategy or way to deal with it. He is easy to talk to, personable & highly capable. He is knowledgeable and a man of the word. He is an encourager, listener & problem solver.
