Suntan Terrace Beach Motel

All I can say is Wow. Great place and staff. A little hard to get a hold of them. But worth the trouble. Would stay here again in a heartbeat 💓.

Beautiful location. I stayed for one night and that was enough. My room was below another room that had no insulation between floors. It sounded like a herd of baby elephants stomping around above my head.
Since a family was above me this went on periodically all night long and I got no sleep. The floors popped and crackled under moderate weight. Just not made for real people to live here.
The noise became unbearable at 6am and I had to get up. I went to take a shower. The head of the shower was pointed towards the wall. I tried to move it so I could get under the water and the shower head came

Doesn't get much better than this place! Beautiful beaches, clean rooms, outstanding staff and exceptional management. Grab a hammock and watch the sun set! Will be back soon!

Nice response back at a paying customer. I never said the place was a “dump”. I said the rooms are extremely tiny and the pool was completely mismanaged chemically. The kitchenette rooms are not big enough for 4 people at any angle. Two people tops! And I don’t have a son so I don’t know to whom you are referring. You had a good 45 minutes of an opportunity to at the very least, offer me a pittance of a discount upon the room mix up, or an apology for the mix up but you did nothing. So don’t go saying you would have refunded me cause you know you would be tellin a non truth.

This place is great. GREAT. We stayed in an studio with kitchenette and it was perfect. The front desk lady is a sweetheart, such a decent, kind person. The place is super clean..CLEAN..spotless.
The beach is just right there, beautiful clear water ..quiet not crowded beach.
The place itself was quiet, nice guests luckily.
Outside the common area with hammocks and tables to eat outside if you like.
They have chaise lounges and beah chairs for everybody to use.
Hot water, good AC, wifi and everything you need to cook (microwave and stove..no oven)

Great place for a small family. We came during a severe rain storm and the front desk gave us an umbrella and they accomidated us with some small requests we had. The charcoal bbq pits are in excellent shape and the big takes to eat at are nice.

We’ve stayed here the last few years and it’s always been wonderful!
This year , the room we got was an efficiency, never have we booked one. Because of COVID we had to use it or lose it. There was no furniture to sit on the terrace, or the umbrella tables we used to sit and look out at the ocean, plus, no ice for the rooms because the machine was down, it’s definitely gone downhill , and it cost $400 more!

First time there and really loved it. From the street it's the kind of place you'd drive right by and not give a second glance. But honestly, it is our new favorite family beach place. The people were very nice and helpful. The room we had was a one bedroom unit that had just been renovated and it was fantastic. It was very clean, decorated beautifully, and felt more like a new condo. Outside the facility isn't large but super cute. The pool is very nice and overlooks the boat dock and intercoastal. From being greeted by Cindy at check in and getting the tour to checking out again with Cindy it was the best time we had in a long while. The view of the gulf is amazing. The room was squeaky clean and decorated so comfy. We may go back like all the time.

Absolutely Love this place. Cindy is so nice and helpful she always takes care of everything I need from check in to check out. Rooms are clean. Affordable prices. Great location. Having the Gulf on One side and the channel on the other side is great for Fishing.

Low key, clean and right on the beach. Perfect place if you need a kitchenette. Great for families. They also provide umbrellas and beach chairs. Pool is nice and you can use any outdoor grill if you want to bbq. Hammocks and a Tiki Bar area with an ice machine if you want to make your own drinks. Love this place. And the owners are very nice and courteous.

What can I say the manager of this place Samantha is an angel! Keep her. Overall we had a great time except for a rowdy group that showed up on day three of our stay. Wasn't much we could do over the evening but I left a message at 1:30 am and the next morning Samantha knocked on our door and was incredibly attentive and concerned about our comfort and safety as guests. She even gave us her cell phone number to call any time. We will be back especially if the owners are smart enough to keep her!

This little hotel is the best! It fills up quick because everyone loves it! My family and I have been vacationing here since 2011, I even married my husband back in 2013 on suntan terraces beach and it was perfect for the beach wedding I've always wanted. Every summer is not complete till we get to come back to suntan and stay in this beautiful beach spot that we love and we especially love how it's not a hilton and a more personal small hotel. I must add in that if there was a problem, big or small, any time of day in just a call away he is there no matter what and that to us is excellent

Clean, good prices, nice staff, and great views. An excellent laid back place.
