The Hibiscus Inn boasts spacious guest room suites, heated outdoor pool, barbecue grills, guest laundry facilities, and complimentary wireless Internet access in all rooms. Our Tropical Guest Suites include pillowtop mattresses, separate living areas with comfortable sofas and kitchens with microwaves and refrigerators.
We had a little living room (and tv), kitchenette that was stocked with dishes, good sized bathroom and a separate bedroom with two very comfortable double beds (and tv). The bedroom was good sized too and we had plenty of room to set up a playpen for our baby for him to sleep in. For what we paid at the Hibiscus Suites, we only would have had just a single room at another hotel.
Sarasota, Florida is home to some of the best beaches in the world! It should come as no surprise that spending time on Sarasota beaches is on the top of the list of things to do when visiting the area. The blue-ribbon winner in the area, Siesta Beach earned its bragging rights in from its 99% pure-quartz sand in 2011 when Dr. Beach ranked it No. 1 on his annual list of America's Best Beaches!

For a roadside motel this place is top notch. Freshly renovated with modern features including wood grain flooring which is great for a beach Town. This being said even though it is pretty great for a roadside motel it is still a roadside motel. I would have liked to have seen sheets covering both top and bottom of blanket. It looked a bit janky and dirty. Also, I cleaned the bathtub to bathe the kids and when I went to fill it black stuff came out of the drain. We used buckets to clean them with the shower running. I would definitely stay here again if I didn't have kids.

We stayed here for a few days to get away to Siesta Key beach. It is within minutes of the beach and local restaurants, shops, etc. The hotel was very nicely kept up on the outside and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel front desk staff (Judith) was very nice and helpful! I would definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise.

Checked in around 3am and Chelsea treated us like we were very welcome and like we were the only customers who she had all day. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. If it was around $100.00 a night I would have stayed for 5 more days. I especially loved and enjoyed the shower. It felt like rain falling on me.

Such a cute little spot to vacation at. We were only here for one night but the service was amazing. The guy at the front desk really helped us and gave us all the information we needed. The room we had was apartment style and the perfect size. There is parking spaces if you bring your car and the pool was amazing! Towels are provided in the front office. Would definitely stay here again.

I came down to Hibiscus Suites on a work trip. I have actually been here several times for work, but this one, in particular, I have had a prolonged visit. I checked into my room on Monday and due to it being busy season, I was placed in a kings suite - when realistically, I only needed 1 single bed for myself. I walked into my room and was SO shocked at how beautiful and large it was. The entire suite was so clean and tidy. The suite itself contained a fridge, dining room table, living room, and oven/stove. This was perfect because I had planned to stay the duration of the week and it felt more

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding that was in the area and we were very pleased! The hotel was very clean and the staff was phenomenal. I didn't get the manager's name, but she was very quick to resolve any issues that arose, and get us anything we needed! Would definitely recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Hibiscus Suites!

My friend and I did a over night stay aynd I have to say it was a GREAT stay. The rooms were very clean and the beds were amazingly soft and comfortable. It was a home away from home. They have little kitchens, with a fridge, mini stove and oven, and other amenities. The living room was seperate from the sleeping area which was nice. I DEFINITELY will be back and will tell my friends that vacation in Florida to stay here. The continental breakfast is good too

So we decided to try "Siesta Key Beach" for a vacation. We landed at Hibiscus Suites. Very nice hotel. Clean, friendly... kinda felt like we were HOME! The location is great, because you are right across a small bridge to siesta key beach(short walk) & all the key restaurants and hot spots. The best thing about the location is its 1 block to Tamiami Trail that has every thing, wallgreens, restaurants, cell stores & car washes etc. Judith the general mgr. and her staff are so accommodating and available 24/7. The free breakfast has a 4 hour window for the early birds and

Came here back in 2013, everything was nice. I decided to come back and was surprised to see that the hotel was renovated and modern... when I got here I was given a hotel room that looked the same as it did in 2013. I guess I can say I was fooled by the pictures. I've provided some pictures of what it looked like online and how it looks like in reality.

This was not my choice for our stay, but we travelled with a group of 18 and whom organized all of the rooms got a decent price at this place...it's no wonder! The check in process was smooth, the hotel overall clean. Breakfast, save yourself the hassle of waking up at 9am to make it. Awful! Everything from the "pancakes" (texture of the waffles) to the sewage water flavored coffee was a waste of time. The rooms have "dishes"...just buy disposable. The bowl fit about 5 pieces of captain crunch in it. Lol
Most importantly, I laughed it off the first night; when my boyfriend

This location is our favorite spot to stay at when we visit Sarasota. It is within a few miles of a mall. There are plenty of commercial stores relatively close to meet all vacation needs. They do have an onsite laundry room.
The outside is nice with an old time look. We choose this place because of their relaxed rules on being DOG friendly. They allow dogs to be left in rooms unattended. We also enjoy the free beach chairs they allow people staying at the hotel to use for their beach visits. They provide beach towels. The chairs and towels are free of charge. As is the free breakfast daily from

I have stayed at the Hibiscus Suites Inn on two occasions. They are dog friendly which is Important in my book. I confess I was a little sad to find they painted the hotel white. I could swear it used to be pink.
You get a bedroom, a living room and a full kitchen complete with plates. There are coin operated laundry machines available downstairs which is nice if you are in town for the beaches.
I drove to Brohard Paw Park and Beach in Venice which is about thirty minutes away. If you are here with your pups then the drive isn't bad. I think Siesta Key is pretty, but too touristy. Lido Beach

I was glad that I chose this hotel. It was an easy drive to the local beaches. My room was very comfortable, only problem was the AC unit started leaking in the room the last two days. It was clean and the had a limited kitchen which was just perfect for lunch and breakfast. There were some limited pans/dishes. I had to buy some paper towels. I wish they had a baking sheet provided. They offer a complimentary breakfast, which was nice but when they cook the waffles it get smoky due to the poor venting. Even though I had neigbhors, it was always quiet. The TVs were newer and lots of channels

We love to stay near Siesta Key Village where we can walk to all we want to do ... unfortunately we could not find accommodations in the village on the weekend we wanted to travel. The Hibiscus
Suites Inn is 5-10 minutes from the Village. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they offer
a decent breakfast, and the rooms were very updated and clean. We appreciated having a kitchen which we would have used it more if we were staying longer than a couple of days. This is a great, affordable option that puts you close to Siesta Key beach. We would stay here again.

Great location, economical, but not a 5 star hotel. I'd been here years ago, but this past visit we stayed with some friends (on the sofa bed). I like how the pool is out front and there's a grill, but the grill wasn't the easiest to operate. There's a great little patio behind the second building with a grill, but the grill back there had no propane tank. Lame.
The pool was quite busy, and there were a lot of loud people there, which took away from the enjoyment, but this isn't the hotel's fault. Continental breakfast was pretty good, but we opted to cook in our

The tail of two rooms
This establishment went Jekyll and Hyde on us in a couple different ways. The most important was with the rooms. Our room, in the 2nd building, not the main one (the one built around the pool), was poor. The walls, not just one, but most, had dirty hand and finger prints all over them. I mean, standing out visibly. Would a wet towel or some cleaning solution be too much to ask to clean them up? Room seemed a little run down, additionally we were put in a handicap accessible room, which we did not request and did not want (no "bedroom" or "suite"

I stayed here because of the good reviews. Obviously the staff is the one writing the reviews because this place is a dumpy motel. it is not a hotel. It has a window unit air conditioner. The walls are all chipped. Not all rooms come with a kitchen. Mine didnt. The decor is old and cheesy. I literally have a plastic chair sitting out front of my room. This was the only place I could find that was not booked and now I see why. On a positive note...The bed was descent and there was a flat screen TV and free breakfast. This place is just a really old motel that they half way renovated.
