The wedding meal is an ancient tradition, celebrating the bond created between two groups sharing a table. We design our wedding menus to reflect on each family's special history, as well as the new shared future of the happy couple. There are a lot of cookie cutter wedding menus out there, but when your guests experience your menu, they'll know it is a reflection of you.
Anniversaries, birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, quinceaneras, bridal and baby showers, reunions, graduations, and other special occasions deserve a menu that highlights the guest of honor. And if you think your party is too small to consider catering - please think again! These intimate events are some of our favorites, allowing us to be truly creative.

I waited an ample amount of time to write this review. We hired Tim the Girl catering for a party of 125 to celebrate my mother’s retirement on July 3rd. We read the reviews and decided to use Tim the Girl. It… was not a decision made lightly as they were at the upper end of our price point. The tasting went beautifully. We sampled three items. Chicken kebabs, a salad, and grilled vegetables. We asked that they amp up the seasoning on the chicken. Everything else was delicious. It was beautifully presented. You could see the herbs on large chunks of chicken. What was sampled was not

Tim and her staff were exceptional! Scott was so helpful in guiding me through what I needed. The food was delicious and beautiful, everyone was so kind and attentive to all the guests and they left my home cleaner than when they came! We hired TtG for our company's holiday dinner. The food was bland and boring, although I wouldn't say bad. However, the overall experience was terrible. As I mentioned, it was a dinner. The only "plates" provided were small paper "saucers" about 6' across. For a dinner of prime rib with sides. So everybody was stacking high, attempting to carry 2-3 plates, etc. Ridiculous.....
AND.... They didn't provide knives to cut the prime rib on your plate. So literally people were eating with the fingers, chewing the meat off their fork, etc.

We just completed our third event with TTG this past weekend and it was a huge success per usual! Staff is pleasant, hard working and engaging in just the right way. TTG also is so flexible in taking our… ideas and adding their expertise and professionalism to bring our vision to life. All of our guests are always so pleased and the best part is that they handle the event so smoothly that as the host I can completely relax and tend to my guests rather than checking in on the staff and kitchen. A complete delight to work with!!!

Tim the Girl provided the most amazing service and food for our wedding reception. Ashley was my point-person, and she was very responsive through email and by phone whenever I had questions. Our venue was in the Hill Country and they arranged to have an oven on-site to make sure the food was fresh instead of stuffed into warming boxes for over an hour of travel. Their baker also made our wedding cake -- which was DELICIOUS!

I threw my husband a surprise 40th birthday party at Ivy Hall and it was EXCEPTIONAL!
The entire staff (including Tim and Ashley) were so accommodating and easy to work with. They literally did everything for me...all I had to do was show up; which was a godsend since I no longer live in San Antonio.
The Ivy Hall Gardens are beautiful and open… so people are not on top of each other and the food was delicious. I highly recommend Tim the Girl! A HUGE thank you to the entire team of servers, Director of Operations and of course Tim for making it such a memorable occasion!

Fantastic experience working with Tim the Girl and her whole staff. The planning and attention to details made our Rehearsal Dinner event as special as I had imagined. The food was phenomenal, the decor perfect for our outdoor BBQ Rodeo-themed evening. Josh, Ashley, and the entire chef team made my out of town guests feel right at home and very special. I will use this team again, no question!

As we were coming in from out of state we needed someone we could rely on as our local contact as well as provide great food. The minute I spoke with her I knew she was exactly what I was looking for. Tim and her staff were amazing. The food was DELICIOUS & CREATIVE - the presentation was BEAUTIFUL - the buffet decor was PERFECT for our theme & the whole night was a huge success. We hired Tim and her crew to cater our company retreat down in San Antonio, and it was really special. Surprisingly fresh, healthy and delicious food. Totally unexpected! I thought Texas was all BBQ, Tex mex and beer. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that. But this was a nice break from the heavy stuff. Real food.
