Mishicot Veterinary Clinic
Mishicot Veterinary Clinic in Mishicot, WI is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.
Services
Mishicot Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. During appointments, we ask that for your safety, you allow our staff to hold your pet for any testing or injection administration.
Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Is the anesthetic safe? Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past.

1 Dr that's all they have, they are overwhelmed, more clients than staff to handle them all. Dr Garder is wonderful. But getting an appointment is IMPOSSIBLE. maybe if they find another DR things will improve.

After 5 years and this being the only vet our dog has had, we were treated like strangers who were inconveniencing them. The staff is arrogant and they don't pay attention to their own records for vital details. We feel they ignoring critical information and pretty much anything we tried to tell them. Seriously dissatisfied, and will not return.

Mishicot vet was there to help my nephew's dog, Clara, out when she was really sick and no one else could get her in. They saved her life. They were attentive, caring and went out of their way to help. The entire staff was fabulous!

Just had our first vet appointment for our puppy and highly recommend Mishicot Veterinary Clinic. We were in a time constraint to get our puppy checked out and Mishicot vet was able to get us in sooner than our regular vet. After this first visit, we will be going there from now on. Dr. Rider and all the staff we encountered were friendly, thorough, and compassionate with our 10 week old puppy. This is for sure our permanant vet for all of our pets from now on. 5 stars!

There is no one else I would trust my pet to than Dr. Rider. She goes beyond out of her way to try and accommodate all her clients' needs; even when it is not convenient for her. Dr. Rider does anything, and everything in her power to treat my pet and to make sure they get the care they need, running necessary tests and performing ONLY NECESSARY procedures. Dr. Rider is knowledgeable, stays up to date by educating herself even further, and is the kindest veterinarian you will ever meet. Absolute joy visiting her.

They got my dog in for an appointment the next day after I called .Dr Rivers took all the time in the world explaining what might be going on with my dog even though they were running behind due to an emergency & being understaffed. I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for the kindness we were shown from the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left. Mishicot Veterinary Clinic is everything a vet clinic should be & we can't thank you enough.

I took my chihuahua here, he wasn't eating, come to find out he must have been bitten by a tick, gravely ill, the doctors did everything they could, quick diagnosis, even a tiny feeding tube. He did die. But they were wonderful, it was too late. A note to every pet owner; the test used for heart worm, also tests for tick diseases. GET IT DONE ! Ticks kill. It's been almost four months, Harley was only four years old, I'm still absolutely heart broken, he was so special, a real little lover of all! Thank you all! God bless.
