We work by appointment only. To ensure you are able to visit the salon at a time that is best for you, we highly recommend that you schedule an appointment in advance. Please allow 24-48 hours for us to return your message. We do not double book our appointments. This is to ensure that even while your color is processing, you have our full attention to discuss all of your hair needs.
I believe that your time at Sparrow should be relaxing, and informative. You should leave with an understanding of how to style your hair at home, what products will work best for you, and of course, happy with your cut and color! For the past twenty years, I have been helping people feel look and feel great in my chair- in Ohio, Florida and now Maine!
At Sparrow, we only use and sell products that are designed and manufactured in the US, Canada, and Italy. Shampoos, conditioners, and styling products are all pH safe for hair, and help to reduce fading. Knowing your hair type is the key to selecting the correct hair products for yourself. Consulting with your stylist, is the best way to determine your hair type and what it needs to look and feel its best!
I believe that the day of your wedding should be spent relaxing, with your bridal party and family, enjoying the day, not stressing and worrying. To ensure this is possible, and that your hair is perfect on your big day, I have all brides do a trial prior to the wedding. This helps us to ensure that your hair will be exactly what you want on your wedding day.

This salon is filled with some of the kindest and most talented staff in the field, I personally get my nails done to treat myself whenever I can and Danica (the nail tech) is absolutely amazing. I was never a regular nail person until I got my nails done by her, she is very sweet and great at what she does along with the other ladies in the salon. I always see everyone leaving with smiles as the atmosphere is so inviting, and everyone is always overjoyed with their services no matter who or what they are getting… strongly recommend this salon❤️

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality
My experience was not good. I needed a last minute hair cut before my birthday and and told Lisa I wanted a trim. She took nearly two inches off and completely ruined my curtain bangs. I told her word for word that "I liked a blunt cut AT THE ENDS, but she took to my bangs for an overall uneven choppy look

Over the years I have had my hair done (cut and colour) by Kathy, Lisa and Baylee; I have nothing but good things to say about all of these lovely and talented ladies. I have never been disappointed with my hair, they have all listened attentively and professionally delivered what I wanted (all while keeping my hair healthy 🎉)! I also get my nails done by Danica, her work is phenomenal and she's so sweet & easy to talk to!!
The new salon is BEAUTIFUL, very modern and clean and I love that the salon has been such a safe space for me during the pandemic. Sparrow is truly such a positive atmosphere

Absolutely heart broken to see places openly discriminating against those who chose not to disclose their medical history (for a large number of valid reasons in many cases). You are on the wrong side of history and it’s technically illegal to have that sign in your window (brush up on the charter of rights and Nuremberg code). Shame on you Sparrow Hair Studio. Couldn’t believe you have the audacity to put a heart under those segregating words. You’re on the wrong side of history like so many others currently.

You know when you go to your home away from home.. this is that place.
Always warm and welcoming with amazing colourists and stylists.
I always go early to enjoy a drink in front of the fireplace and chat.
I get tons of compliments on my cut and colour and I have followed my stylist Lisa for many a year because she does an amazing job!!
