I am speaking from my own personal experience and am being completely honest with my review. I found Sandi through a friend who messaged her friend (another Episcopal priest)-who suggested that I reach out to Sandi to help us with our housing search. Sandi has never seen or met me in person-and I have not paid her a dime for her help.

We had just fulfilled our one year lease obligation on a single family home in 92131. The homeowner(James) and Sandi at Del Mar Property Management requested another lease extension be signed. They presented 3 different options, of which we chose the 6 month option. With the job losses mounting during this pandemic and no real new jobs available if you lost your job, we requested the following addition: we would need to include a paragraph that allows us the option to move out with 30 days notice, for the following reason: Tenant losses her job or is furloughed for a period of 3 months or

It is always sad when a tenant uses this venue to vent rather than leave an honest evaluation of a company that has serviced the community for over 30 years and for which they rented from for almost 5 years. During the last year we have seen a dramatic negative change in their tenancy and the condition of the property. We wish them the best in their future.

Sandi is the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. She’s just plain mean. Check out the yelp reviews to confirm that there are numerous people who feel the same way and have been wronged by Del Mar Property Management. I have been a tenant with them for almost one year and move in a few weeks. Sandi breaks the law and has no regard for tenant rights. They are very cheap and please don’t expect anything to get fixed. They off-load everything possible to tenants. During my time renting from them I have been treated horribly and they do not care or take care of their properties

Moving to a unit managed by Del Mar Property Management was one of the worse decisions I have ever made. The other reviews are accurate. Sandi is really rude, unprofessional, cheap, and just a bad person. Ask anyone who lives in the units they manage. Everyone says try not to interact with Sandi and has horrible things to say about her. I mean horrible. I moved to the Cardiff property last November and living here has been horrible. They are illegally renting this unit with no heat. No heat and it's in the 40s here in the winter at night and in the morning. They are so cheap, expect you to

Beware of renting a home or vacation rental from this company. They have been horrible to deal with, providing very rude person to person interaction, unfairly with holding the outrageous deposit, violating California tenancy laws, misplacing rental payments made 6 months in advance, providing questionable accounting, sending abundant rude emails demanding immediate response, yet taking weeks or never even responding to emails requesting maintenance, and have even made illegal eviction threats. After turning in apps, fees, credit scores, and rental references, our agent had to hound these people-mainly the broker Sandy, who it seems the employees have to constantly apologize for. Phone calls went unanswered for days with no good excuse for why Sandy wasn't making a move. Who doesn't want to rent their property? UNPROFESSIONAL.

Wow - these are pretty bad reviews. I don't doubt their veracity. But I should say the service I received wasn't THAT bad. I lived in a unit about 2 1/2 months. Things worked out all right - BUT I did have to get after stuff more than I think I should have. Simple example - after 40 days - still not deposit returned. A phone call to the owner wasn't productive, left some messages for Sandi, some emails, etc, etc. Never a response of any kind. Then just as I was about to file a small claims court action - damn check in the mail for the exact correct amount. It's sad

SANDI LANZAROTTA CHAN is a scroundrel. All she cares about is getting your money. She does no background checks on tenants and will rent to anyone without checking references. She just wants her money and is gone. No morals or integrity at all. Oh yes, she comes on very sweet with her pumpkin go to church act but watch out not an word of truth comes out of that mouth.
Sandi rented my unit and charged me an outrageous fee to find a tenant. All she did was look at the application and never checked references. As it turned out the tenant , would not pay rent, stayed in unit until evicted

I lived in a property that they managed for a few years and there was nothing but endless promises and a general distain for their tenants. Here are a few examples:

If I could sum up the Del Mar Property Management, this would be the word I'd use: UNETHICAL!
I would also add:
1- Lack of response and professionalism.
2- May give you a verbal offer, and turn their back on you, would something better /higher comes around, while denying they had anything to do w/ the decision making.
3- Very unprofessional way of handling a business, including making false "statements" and not being up front about things. In addition to not following up within the time frame agreed upon.
Bottom line, as an owner I would never use their services, and as a renter
