Services
John Boruff founded Palomar Property Management (now Palomar Property Services) in the Fall of 2008. Prior to founding Palomar Property Management, John ran successful businesses within the automotive parts and repair industry, owning and operating multiple locations in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada.

While source of income discrimination is already prohibited under California law, this ordinance broadens the definition of source of income to include "rental assistance from any federal, state, local, or nonprofit-administered benefit or subsidy program, or any financial aid from any rental assistance program, homeless assistance program, security deposit assistance program, or housing subsidy program, whether paid directly to the program participant, landlord or representative of either."

As a single family home owner, living out of state, and in a challenging market due to the pandemic, Palomar has been amazing in their professionalism, responsiveness and guidance through it all. John, Keri and the rest of the team have done more than step up to help with the hurdles the last year has challenged us all with.

Our home was rented out quickly with excellent tenants and the team understood our concerns and put them into consideration during the whole process. I live in a property that is managed by this company, and I have never had any issues receiving any repairs right away. Even if it's something as small as noises in the pipes or the heater, they always send someone out within a week of me asking. Very great team. Very great people. Definitely do recommend.

Landlord review: Great company! We're first time landlords and we heard many nightmare stories about property management companies, so when we decided to hire one, we made sure to pick the best one regardless of cost. I deal with three property management groups across the country, Palomar Property Management is by far the best! They always get good renters and deal with them appropriately. Repairs are handled quickly and with reliable vendors. I had a $45,000 water loss at one of my properties and they dealt with the insurance companies, contractors, and saved me all kinds of headaches. When someone moves out, they get the property turned around quickly and re-rented quickly. They respond to my calls usually in less than an hour and have given me really good advice when considering the purchase of a new property
