Our name comes from the previous owner. He took his inspiration from the address at 99 South Broadway, and decided to call it Salon 99. It was bought by Mario and Rose in 1977. We moved to a new location that had been an Amoco Gas Station and converted it to our salon and office space, currently occupied by Cyr Lumber Company.

Salon 99 has been part of my life for over 45 years. From proms to weddings including many different hairstyles. They always listen and help you make the changes you are looking for. They want to make sure you leave happy. They will make recommendations but are never pushy. I think the biggest compliment to Salon 99 is when I get asked on the streets, who does my hair?

I always look forward to my time at Salon 99 and I know with confidence that when I leave, I will look my best. No matter what I throw at them as far as a new color/style, they do their best to make me understand what they can do and aim to please. I once switched to a new place because I moved about an hour away and within three months I was driving that hour because I knew I would get what I wanted. Salon 99 is up with the current trends and always pleasant and ready to serve you with a smile.
I highly recommend Salon 99 for all your beauty needs. You won't go wrong going there.

My first red flag was there was no one under 80 years of age when I walked in. Should have left right then. My "hair stylist" was sooooo rude and literally the whole time threw digs at my hair. On their website among other things that they "specialize" in they list long hair. Not only did she call my hair too long but also too fine for the style I wanted, when all I wanted was simple layers, but also extremely dry (multiple times) which is far from the truth. The only good thing I can say about this place is that they swept up the hair before I could realize how much they had
